Amazing

I loved it challenging but I keep practicing

Detection sucks

I like the format of that app and the exercises it has, but I’m a professional singer and my intonation is objectively solid. However, I’m not sure if it’s the timing detection that is not synchronized with the actual audio, but I regularly get a 25% rating on pitch. Every single time. I try singing slightly ahead of the note to see if it makes a difference, but it keeps telling me my pitch is off. I know I’m not off because when I record my voice and pull up my pitches, I’m close to center of intonation by no more than 10-15 cents.

Not Working

It stopped working one day one of the free trial. So I have to wait about two days for a response. So basically the free trial will be over and I’ll be paying for an app I never really got to try out.

Great idea - poor execution

There’s too much frustration. Some of the exercises do not register the sound input. It doesn’t take into account the natural singing voice when recognizing pitch. There are instrument tuner apps that are much more accurate. To get the app to “work” for positive results you’re not refining any technique - just trying to hit app “targets” so to speak.

Dissapointing and down $50…

Tried out the free trial and was dissapointed by the accuracy of the exercise scores.

Was then debited for a yearly subscription and the customer service has been unresponsive.

Haven’t used the app once since the free trial…

Really glitchy

This app is super glitchy. It doesn’t work half of the time. The sound doesn’t come out when connected to Bluetooth, then crashes unexpectedly for no reason. Have to start and restart the app multiple times to get sound to come out. Super annoying. I would love the app if it actually worked consistently

Notes and Adjustable Speed

The notes could be displayed better maybe above the target reader, and not just in the side in small font. Also the speed should be adjustable for each exercise. Overall, it is a great trainer and great for warmup and exercise. I use it regularly!

Forced to subscribe

I tried this app and got the trial for 7 days, after my first use I realized I didn’t need the app and it won’t meet my need. I go to my settings to cancel the subscription and delete the app. Tell me why the subscription ends 2027? For an app I don’t have anymore. And I’m supposed to pay the yearly subscription by force?

Really cool app but 🙅🏻‍♂️ 🌟

It was an amazing app and I knew that I had to pay a prescription. I’m not going to pay any prescription for just a cast or whatever the heck this app is the real advice when I’m gonna give you is to go and rather pain in actual human then learning on your phone. You shouldn’t pay prescription for it, but if you’re willing instead of putting your kid in learning a really good learning a really good learning advice by putting them in like let’s say a musical theater but instead of doing that and you choose an app I personally wouldn’t suggest that, but I know some parents would, but I suggest humans can do better,so yah!

The best singing app

I’ve been trying to get better at singing for two years so I tried this app out. Although the app can seem mean at first once you do it every day you get a lot better. I have been doing this for a week and my highest accuracy was 78. Even is you don’t pay for the subscription there are still singing exercise you can do.

The instructions are not clear enough; nevertheless, the app can be helpful for beginning singers.

The instructions are not clear enough.

Another problem during my initial experiences was the English language, though this cannot be attributed to it as the root cause.

For me, the exercises proceeded too quickly; I first had to figure out how to interpret the colored line that appeared during the exercise. In short, introductory information is missing. Furthermore, I was unsure whether the auditory signals processed by the program were being interpreted correctly.

What I like about this—and what sets it apart from many other vocal exercise apps is that it also incorporates breathing, posture, pitch accuracy, and, to some extent, rhythm.

It is not entirely out of the question that there is was a problem with my iPhone microphone.

In my opinion, the exercises are primarily intended for beginners, but are also suitable as a review for advanced singers.

Muito bom

Não tem tradução, o app é todo inglês.

Super slow

Something fishy is going on with this app and I do not trust it one bit. This app is AWFUL! Super slow and lags. I’m connected to WiFi and have full service yet the app is just a blank white screen for more than ten minutes. Additionally, the app could not detect my vocal range after a dozen attempts. This developer does not have my consent or my permission to steal any of my data or private information. I know some apps seem fun, but sometimes at the cost of fun- these apps hijack our information.
Vocalista deserves Zero stars not even one.

Harder than I thought

I think I picked two advanced of a start. I’d like to start over and simplify.

Good

Very good app
But I need to be able to change the speed for each exercise, especially to make it slower

WHY

it says my Breath is OFF AHYYYYYYY

Great exercises if you’re already advanced, not great accuracy on analysis.

I’m not sure where the 4.6 out of 5 comes from, but I tried this and had multiple concerns about it for beginners or people with vocal strain issues/throat tension . I’ve had my vocal range professionally assessed as mezzo soprano. The app detected me as way off this. There are minimal warms ups here tailored with consideration of how to warm up to prevent vocal strain. Minimal consonant warm ups starting with mmm’s or lip buzzes on nnn sounds, or runs progressing downwards, before up for example. The demos of advanced warm ups techniques are too fast for a beginner to learn correctly, without forcing singing too fast, running out of breath
and pitch bouncing all over the place trying to keep up and it then punishing you on your accuracy percentage. At that, there’s no way my breath and pitch are as far off as this app rated. But there’s no further explanation/breakdown as to why “your breath was off” just a % with no explained or suggested exercise to correct. So that doesn’t feel like it helps fix it. The voice demo singer I’m sorry has a terrible grasp on their mixed voice, almost cracks repeatedly and is teaching beginners bad habits with straining throat muscles immediately because you can hear they’re pushing too hard. I’m not sure if that was attempt to make new singers less intimidated by sounding more like them maybe? But I wouldn’t aspire to sound like the demo.
BUT on the plus side, Some great runs for agility if you’re already pretty advanced , familiar with them and know what you’re doing. But this one is not personally what I’m after in an app, when I’m look for direct coach feedback on exactly what is off about my technique (in the way that some language accent training apps, like BoldVoice do exceptionally well. If it had that level of analysts and coaching, it would be perfect for what I’m after.
