Major flaw

There is no way to manually set pitch parameters that align with notes you can actually sing. Many women would struggle to reach a C3 for instance - that’s about anatomy, not ear training - and locks you right out of the game.

Thanks for the feedback! We just added support for custom vocal ranges, so you can now set your own lowest and highest pitch to fit your voice.

Not accurate

I got this game to kick it won’t work, but no when I did the door meeting it did not work. I said those as much as I can. I hurt my old family‘s ears, and it did not even work at all bad game. Make it work now or I’m calling the police

Not accurate

This app is broken. Despite the developer insisting that it isn’t, I’ll tell you exactly what his problem is. He’s using a fast Fourier transform, but not always picking out the right harmonic frequency in the power spectrum. Either that or there’s a delay in input processing, causing extreme input lag (2-3 seconds worth), causing spiky behavior when the algorithm suddenly catches up, making the game feel extremely unfair. TikTok can figure it out and offer this app for free, but for $1, this app has not figured it out.

Thanks for the feedback! We actually don't use the most basic FFT approach. You've probably developed something similar yourself. The FFT method has pretty low accuracy in real-world scenarios, which is why it doesn't fit our current app. We spent a lot of time doing research and designed a method that we believe balances both performance and realtime responsiveness. We've tested on a wide range of devices, and the experience is very smooth for most users. If you're really seeing 2-3 seconds of delay, please share your device, OS version, and setup details — we'd be happy to debug it (feel free to email us directly). We're guessing you found us through the filter search: yes! we're the creators of the original Perfect Pitch Challenge filter on TikTok, where we shared the filter for free. But TikTok has quite a few limitations that stop us from fully realizing our ideas. That's why we built this app — to bring more of our creative vision to life without those restrictions. Not accurate

I was hoping to use this game to train my vocalist, but it’s not even close to being accurate. It’s literally just for fun. It’s not even good at that.

Our pitch detection algorithm is designed to be nearly as accurate as some pro apps, and it’s been tested by numerous users. The Perfect Game For Those With True Pitch

I am digging this game. I am not much of a mobile gamer, but I sometimes like the paid ones that are actually like real games and aren’t shoving microspits and ads down your throat. I am not quite perfect pitch but most people will mistake my ear abilities for a real perfect pitch. I feel like for those who really have perfect pitch, this would be impossibly easy and probably not that fun to play. If you don’t know, “true pitch” is a newer term to encompass the vast majority of us who think we have perfect pitch, but our pitch recognition is not instantaneous. So we call it true pitch, or at least I think we should be.

But I believe the relative pitch people will have just as much fun, which will be this Chinese developer’s largest demographic, as most people will only ever be relative pitch. Funny to note too that most people with perfect pitch are born in regions that speak tonal languages, like Chinese.
