App not responsive
Response from developer
Well, you will get it as your expectation. Currently, text to speech is a suplementary of the main app speech to text. It is added for people who just want to listen only. I will update app to make text to speech to be able to store the entire editable text. Once, you store the text file, there is a file manager page to let you play around with your files. Thanks for your comments.
Less than I has hoped for
Lack of helpful instructions
It was hard for me to engage the dialogs on IPad
Unable to convert MP3 voice to text > 2 - 3 minutes
Described a back arrow but I only found one on the editing dialog and I was not interested in it, meant going back out to home screen and then back into wherever
I’ve spent better part of two days so will forfeit $2 and try another in order to get longer transcripts
However, this was my first product purchased but was satisfied with the transcription including some scientific terms that I did not expect to see
Response from developer
Thanks for your comment. This app is limited to 1 minute transcription only. However, you can split longer sound file into several one minute files using sound editor (either auto trim or manual trim). Then, hit back to return to the transcrption view to begin transcription each of one minute file, one by one. In fact, the sound editor is very important to solve a free 1 minute transcription limitation. Sound editing is working for m4a only, therefore if you import mp3 into this app, you have to convert mp3 into m4a using built-in mp3tom4a button. Longer transcription requires subscription which is not yet available in this app. The folder button will return to file manager to manage all files, i.e. transcribe audio, rename, delete, edit text file, covert text to pdf, search, play audio and share. The home button will return home, so that you can go wherever you want. This app does not use navigation button so that we can make a shortcut to file manager and home from any view.
