After years of playing this game its spectacularly amazing
Bad Game
It feels like this game is constantly trying to screw you over.
I understand RNG. It’s a card game, so obviously luck is going to play a role, and sometimes you’re simply going to get a bad draw. That isn’t my issue. My issue is that the odds feel so consistently stacked against you that eventually it stops feeling like a difficult game and starts feeling like the game has already decided you’re going to lose.
I love difficult games, and I love card games. I have no problem losing when I can look back at a run and understand what I did wrong, what I could have done differently, or how I could improve. That makes me want to play again. Here, there are far too many moments where it feels like there was never a realistic path to winning in the first place. You can make good decisions, build what should be a strong strategy, and still get completely screwed by circumstances outside of your control.
There’s a huge difference between challenging the player and making the player feel powerless. Difficulty is satisfying when better decisions, better strategy, and experience increase your chances of winning. When RNG can repeatedly override all of that, losing doesn’t feel earned. It just feels frustrating.
I genuinely want to like this game, which is probably why it frustrates me so much. If Apple reviews allowed me to properly express just how frustrating it is, this review would contain a lot more profanity.

Been playing for years!
Honestly I come back to this a couple times a year. It’s super fun and you don’t have to deal with tons of micro transactions or any kind of predatory practice like that! 5/5!
Could use less p2w
Very fun and simple deck builder with a main mechanic similar to blackjack just would prefer if the spirits were a challenge or mini game instead of an in app purchase
Fun Game
I have played this game once before on my android and I genuinely believe it’s a very fun game to invest some time and (if you want to money) your progression may seem a little bit slow at times but but that’s really my only gripe other than that 10/10 game and hopefully y’all enjoy

Great story and any in app purchases are completely worth it and not pressured at all. Good game play and original graphics are amazing! I would 100% recommend for all ages

This is the only game where I have throughly enjoyed it enough to make a purchase and not have some guilt. Fully recommend it. Easy to place and easy to advance

I wish there was an option to turn off the flashing light when opening packs of new cards. I really appreciate they made that option available for combat!

I’ve been playing this game on and off for like three years now and I can’t stop playing! It’s like an addiction to flipping those cards. Great game would definitely recommend for those who love doing the whole rougelike deck builder thing 💪🏾

Just talking strictly talking about the content it has, one of the best games on the App Store. So addictive. Mechanics are amazing. It is such a creative deck building, dungeon searching rpg. Quite unique. It does have many different cards and different types of enemies. One of my favorite games I have played. But my one complaint is once you have been playing for a while and have gotten good. There isn’t much to the game. The content is limiting. Hopefully developers you hear me and are working hard to add more to this game because it is great for what it is at the moment.

This game got stuck in my head after a few months and it’s just as awesome as I remember, if not better. I love this game and have played for YEARS now. This game is 1000% in my permanent rotation even if I play it every few weeks.

Genuinely one of my favorite mobile games of all time. Fun loot system and class system, with a well designed and fun combat that always has me feeling excited no matter how many hours I play. PLEASE MAKE MORE CONTENT
