A great app that could use a few additions

The app is generally extremely useful, but there are a few missing/inaccurate values(futurebites BYO bread options showing 0 calories even though it’s listed as 170 on the website. There are a few more but those seem to be an issue with the vt nutrition site.)

Additionally, not being able to manually input macros and calories and having to rely on the AI/general food database is pretty confusing, as the database is useless if you’re cooking, and manually adding macros seems like a pretty easy feature to add(especially since it’s already included in the bar code scanning). Also, for the 2-3 days where barcode scanning was free, it was pretty unreliable from my experience so most of the time I had to change the macros anyway.

With these 2 fixes the app would essentially be perfect and would literally be an auto-download for anybody with a meal plan.

excellent

app has helped me easily input food from dining halls and also seems to have imported a food database from online. only problem is a few options aren’t updated in teal time such as tazon and choolah doesn’t exist in the app. also, there should be an option to subtract or show activity calories so we can get a real grasp on the exact numbers of net calories in a day. Otherwise, 5 stars!

Great app, some bugs but they quickly get fixed

I’ve been using this app and have been having fun tracking my food intake! Good app, at first couple of places here at VT here missing but quickly got added upon request.

Great App

The features they offer for free are so good and help me track my calories

Was good until made me pay

This app was great until added a pro option. You can only track vt meals but the app is marketed as a complete calorie tracker. This app will die off if you need to pay

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback! Just to clarify, the core calorie tracking features are completely free and is a complete calorie tracker. Beyond VT dining hall meals, you can search and log any food through the General Foods tab in the food database, which includes a large library of everyday items at no cost. The only features behind the Pro tier are AI-powered tools and barcode scanning — both of which cost me to run, which is why I can't offer them as free features. Keeping everything else free while covering those costs is the reason Pro exists, not to gate the core experience. The app is fully functional as a complete calorie tracker without ever paying anything. Typical calorie trackers like myfitnesspal and MacroFactor charge $80 a year just to use the app, our much cheaper $29.99 membership is completely optional and users can always use the apps core features for free. Hope that clears things up!

GOATED app

Such a lifesaver. So done with copy and pasting everything to MyFitnessPal.

Must download for every VT student
