User reviews

very bad need new dev team

Why would I need to tell Alexa to Turn On rolling shades?? App is very old no useful troubleshooting logs available. Any of you managers of developers need TO FIRED. This needs an overhaul and better security on the hub as it’s hasn’t been updated in long time!!!

Poor App Functionality

Have had the shades and app for almost two years. Set up is awkward but eventually you figure it out. Automation is terrible and unreliable. Have it set to open our 2 shades in the morning and close in the evening at set times 2 minutes apart. Each shade is successful only 70% of the time, even though the Device Management-Use Records in the app show it was always successful…until I manually operate it from the iPhone.

Doesn’t work with blinds

Absolutely doesn’t work with powered blinds. The app claims pairing is “successful” with super confusing terminology and of course, the pairing didn’t work. Infuriating.

VTI HomeMate

Good app, but it is missing the option to custom open curtains or shade the percentage that you desire. I hope they can add this option to the app.

Needs a lot of work

We were able to change the name of one roller shade. All of the rest are named rollershade1, rollershade2, etc. the only way I figured out how to get around this was by creating rooms, but there still can be 4 shades in one room. I’ve closed the app, rebooted phone, cleared cache and nothing.
