Please fix!
What a fantastic game. I’ve had such a good time with it! It has real heart and offers a very solid challenge. BUT the last ‘Player World’ Golden Spiral (on the screen ‘Watch it bend’) is actually impossible on the refresh rate of modern mobile phones. A simple tweak would allow us to actually finally complete all of the worlds! Also as another reviewer has mentioned, the Super Gravitron high scores do not save, which is annoying. Other than that, superb, a fantastic game.

Great game, doesn’t run great on iOS 26
This game is a classic that unfortunately, it doesn’t run great on modern devices.
* Picture quality is blurry
* Tapping the far left and right sides of the screen don’t count as button inputs
* Music can stutter
* Game is slightly letterboxed, not filling the screen vertically or horizontally.
It’s certainly playable, but buyer beware.

Great game…but…
This game is great. It’s fun, worth the money, and just all around amazing!
With that being said, this port is old. Like, super old. It was last updated in (I believe?) 2017-2018. It doesn’t receive as much attention as the PC version, and it’s showing.
Several of the user level built into this version of the game are impossible. This is due to how the mobile and other ports are designed
Buy the PC version. There’s much more you can do with it, it isn’t breaking down, and everything built in works. Its a 5 star on PC but one stars here

Too bad
The game is really excellent but please make a full screen version for the latest models, i’m on iPhone 17 i just bought the game and it takes only half of the screen !

I wish there was the invulnerability cheat, like on PC, for when I get really stuck.

Great game, ABYSMAL PORT.
I have this game on PC and on my 3DS and I love it, so i decided to buy it on my phone to have an excuse to rebeat it another time but the port is just AWFUL, the image looks all blurry and bad, theres giant black borders and the controls are ok, but not the best. And the worst part is that Apple doesn’t consider the almost unplayable state of the port a valid point to get a refund. Nice :| I am dead serious, DO NOT BUY THIS.

PC version is way better trust me
Good game but the mobile version needs polish. The sensitivity is too high and the graphics aren’t good, about 30fps on mine. I’m worried that the GitHub people aren’t gonna shower this version with attention. If nobody else will do it, I will :/
Would like a more modern update
Game is fantastic and have been a fan for over a decade. The iPhone port works, and its touch support is surprisingly good. iPad port is lacking- needs a bilinear scaler wfor retina displays and gamepad/keyboard support. Please show this game some love!
Great Game hindered by awful performance...
Recently decided to buy VVVVVV on iOS to have another way to play the game, and unfortunately the performance is awful. Laggy with constant clipping audio as well as a rather low resolution. Tested on the iPhone 14 Pro Max on iOS 17.1, so it's likely my device is wayyy too new to properly enjoy it.
Disappointed as it plays perfectly on every other platform I have the game on. (PC, Mac, PS Vita, Switch and 3DS).

Have loved this game for a long time
Happy to see there is an iOS port. It works very well. I only have one comment/suggestion. The game seems to use a bilinear filter, making pixels blurry which in my subjective opinion kind of detracts from the art style. I would love an integer scale or nearest neighbor mode, or as an alternative, a “sharp bilinear” filter, where the image is scaled 2x and then a bilinear filter is applied, still blurring adjacent pixels which prevents pixel shimmer in image when scaling the image to the screen and remaining visibly sharp.

Just needs to be updated for the wider size, because not having a reliable touch area makes it frustrating! And like others I have some occasional freezes when teleporting.

LOVE this game!
This is such a great game, and it works well on iOS too! I played originally on a PC, so getting used to the touch controls was tricky — I’d definitely appreciate being able to use the arrow keys/space bar from a connected keyboard board (eg. The Magic Keyboard for the iPad) for nostalgia!
