This app will revolutionize the yellow taxi industry. It’s a work in progress and needs over 500 drivers online at once to be able to take off and receive many passengers.
But this app works well, payment goes in next day . I love the app , it’s clear map , accurate. Is able to update high demand area like MSG , etc of high volume . A must download app that will help make yellow taxi drivers in NYC make money using technology

Has potential, but...
I’ve had this app loaded for several months now. I work double shifts and have the app running constantly. The layout and functionality is easy to understand. The fare that I did get was where the app directed and the payment to my bank account came the next day, as promised. So, why one star??? In the months that I’ve been using Waave, I got only ONE FARE!!! Maybe they need to do more marketing to the riding public. I’ll say this, the one passenger that I did get said she used it to support yellow cabs as opposed to ride shares (Uber, Lyft, etc.). If/when this company gets it right, I believe this can level the playing field for the yellow industry. But, until I start seeing more fares, I gotta give you guys ONE STAR.😕

Please note this is the app for drivers not customers. Customers need to use other app that does not ask for private info. It would be nice for those who mistakenly tried this and gave a bad review to delete review. It’s not fair to app.

What app asks for a social security number? Good luck competing with Uber and Lyft. Just lost a potential customer.

Good for nyc taxi coprorations, non-issue for lyft and uber, bad for rider
This is a app built out of desperation. Would make more sense to allow uber/lyft to dispatch taxis as well.
Social Security ?
There is no way anyone would provide their SS # and Bank account information for a taxi riding service.

Some nerve ! The app Asks for your social security # and bank account right off the bat. Clearly developed by the nitwits in a city agency instead of a real market offering . If they hope to save the taxi industry with this , think again .
