Poor upgrade
Old proprietary app was much better. The WAC is now using a subscription model app for “Gyms” which is very problematic, and many times does not function (errors out, “Department not loaded”, etc). Trying to “check in” or “Mark Attendance” as it is now called works about 50% of the time. I am guessing that is why every club now has a self-checkin kiosk. They didn’t need that with the old app.

Excellent staff, great facilities, and multiple locations
The multiple locations make it easy to have my gym bag in the car when I’m traveling for work. The staff is always friendly and professional. The facilities are always clean and organized for use.
Needs improvement
I like the app, but it should be searchable by workout type. If I have 3-4 locations and want spin, or strength, or yoga, I should be able to search them all simultaneously. It's inconvenient having to swap location to location and I don't need one exclusive spot.

New system
This new system is cumbersome!
Worse than the old app, major downgrade
1. Interface is clunky and difficult to navigate.
2. There doesn’t seem to be any way to view when or how many times I’ve visited, which is crucial information for me since my employer is paying for my membership and I get charged directly out of my paycheck if I don’t go at least 8 times every month.
3. App Store page claims this is compatible with Apple Wallet, but there doesn’t seem to be any way to actually add my barcode to the wallet.
Update: App has not materially improved since I left this review, but now I’m forced to use it because they got rid of the old one. Barcode takes forever to load every time I try to check in. Why does it have to load at all? It is static and doesn’t change. There is no reason it has to load every time.

I can’t believe that this is what the “new“ app looks like, I absolutely hate it!
I am hoping there’s much more work happening on the backend because if the app is staying like this, it’s a major downgrade. The class times are tiny and hard to read. The way the classes are just in list form with no way to filter them is frustrating. It’s visually just way worse than the other app. It’s difficult to find what classes you are registered for. I am really surprised they didn’t just add the premium classes to the other app if this is how it was going to end up. I even find myself not wanting to go to classes because I hate dealing with how terrible this app is. It’s just a major downgrade from the previous app. Hoping many more changes are coming because this is not great.

Ummmm?
Unsure as why they created this “new” app. Almost as worse as the first Wac App. The Wac+ is hard to navigate.

Hard to use
App is hard to use. And there are two apps which makes it very confusing. I’m a tech savvy millennial and I can’t find any way to see the classes I’ve booked in one easy convenient spot. Hard to use. Needs improvement.

Not a Good App
This app is MUCH less user friendly than the prior app. For example, we used to be able to indicate our favorite classes and sign up without having to search. Also, I can no longer sign in for classes and do not know why. This is VERY basic functionality that should have been thoroughly tested, but does not appear to have been. Communication and support for the roll out of the app has been terrible. Perhaps they will be adding functionality as time moves forward, but how would we know? NO communication!

Great job combining the two applications. Maybe you can go help Amazon fix their systems

This app is too complicated. No more click, click and in. Takes too long to check - in! Even then you can’t be sure you are marked in. Should have left well enough alone and save money that surely comes out of dues. Don’t need any new increases either.
