About

Wageproof works out what your hours are actually worth, and shows every step. THE MATH MOST TRACKERS GET WRONG Work two different rates in one week and your overtime is not priced at either of them. Unless you agreed otherwise in advance, federal law (29 CFR 778.115) prices it on the weighted average of everything you earned that week. Wageproof does that calculation and prints it: 20 hours at $16.00 and 26 at $22.00 is $892.00 straight time, a $19.3913 regular rate, and $950.17 for the week — $10.17 more than the base-rate shortcut many apps use. SHOW THE MATH Every figure is a numbered derivation you can read: the rates, the hours, the regular rate, the overtime premium, the citation each rule comes from. Nothing is a black box, because a number you cannot explain is a number you cannot use. CHECK IT AGAINST YOUR PAYSTUB Type in what the stub says. Wageproof compares it to its own figure as a range, not a single number — because punch rounding is often lawful and a stub that differs by a few cents usually is not a problem. When there is a real difference, it says how much and links straight to the step that produced it. Plain arithmetic, no accusations. BUILT FOR REAL SHIFTS Overnight shifts across midnight. Split shifts. Paid and unpaid breaks. Multiple jobs at different rates. A custom workweek that starts on any day and hour you choose, like Wednesday at 6am. Paystub checking compares one workweek at a time. A RECORD THAT HOLDS UP Every shift is timestamped when you record it, and every edit is kept with what the value was before. Export the whole thing as a CSV or a PDF that carries the derivation, the workweek definition, the rounding policy and the edit history. STATE RULES Federal overtime is free forever. California, Alaska, Nevada and Colorado rulesets — daily overtime, double time, seventh-day rules and split-shift premiums, where each state provides them — are part of Wageproof Pro, along with multiple jobs, paystub checking and export. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO This is an estimate, not a paystub. It does not model tip pooling allocation, service charges, tip reporting, commissions, piece rates, collective bargaining agreements, exempt-status determination, taxes and withholding, or states it does not yet cover. It is not legal advice. Your hours stay on your phone. No account, no sign-in, no server of ours. Back up and restore from a file whenever you like. Wageproof Pro is available as a monthly or annual subscription, or a one-time purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings after purchase. Terms of use: https://bogtsi.xyz/wageproof/terms Privacy policy: https://bogtsi.xyz/wageproof/privacy
