About

Run a faster, clearer kitchen with WaiterOne KDS, the companion kitchen display for the WaiterOne point-of-sale system. Orders sent from WaiterOne appear instantly as digital tickets on an iPad or iPhone. Kitchen, bar, coffee and other preparation stations can see items, modifiers and special requests, track waiting times, and move tickets through Prepare, Service and Close. Replace paper tickets or use KDS alongside existing kitchen and bar printers. Set up multiple displays for different stations, use colour-coded orders for quick recognition, receive sound alerts for new work, and review or restore closed orders when needed. WaiterOne KDS connects to the main WaiterOne device over your local network for a fast, practical workflow during busy service. Important: WaiterOne KDS is a companion app. It requires WaiterOne running on another compatible device. Configure the KDS as a kitchen, bar or preparation printer in WaiterOne before use.

1.4.0

Manually configured connections continue to work. - Open tickets can now stack within each column, with a new Stack tickets setting to return to one order per column. - The All Day summary now groups the remaining preparation items by course. - Service printers can now be found on the local network or configured manually, tested, and used with ESC/POS, Epson ePOS, and Star printer modes. Changed - Version and build information now use the same values throughout KDS. - Test Print now sends one diagnostic receipt with printer details and no products or order information. - The live kitchen screen now has a clearer Open and History workflow, redesigned tickets, and consolidated Settings and diagnostics. - Dynamic Type and VoiceOver support is improved throughout the kitchen, ticket, summary, settings, and printer screens.
