Good coffee, good bagels, bad app..
First time customer, found this coffee place near my new residence, downloaded the app, I saw the nice variety of choices, but the app wasn’t the easiest to maneuver within it. Would have been cool to pick what I wanted, paid through the app, and then pick it up, but it took to much time to adjust. The back button wouldn’t let me go back to the last recent page. Small issue. Worth still ordering from the establishment directly.

Sends verification code to my phone, then when I put it in the app, it says that the code is invalid

Login issues
I love Wake Up Call. However, the app has only worked for me once. I am a very techy person, so I suggest some work be done with the app. That way, it’s a smooth and easy login/order process.
Glitching all the time
Was told we have to use the app now instead of our phone number to redeem drinks. Got the app. Glitches out and doesn’t work half the time. Asked about the app to a worker who knew nothing about the app and doesn’t use it which wasn’t helpful now that it’s mandatory to use for points. Want to give my business but am being held back by these glitches.

Unhappy
Can’t get into the new app, says email/password is incorrect, won’t send a link to reset. Emailed customer support twice and no response.
Can’t Login
With whatever update has gone through, I can’t login to my account and I can’t use my free ones. I never get a response from the “change password”, but I shouldn’t need too anyway since my account is the same since Roasters.
Ugh
Dont usually write reviews but ever since the last update i cant log back in, i tried the forgot password but i never got a response back. And theres no other way that you can sign in. Super frustrated
The old app was better
This app never works. I can never log back in, and half the time it gives me a server error.
Hate the new app
The order ahead option is the only great part about it. The horizontal scrolling to search for menu items is not unique and fun—it’s clunky, time consuming, inconvenient, and straight up off-putting. The app never asks to save my password. I hate that the feature to reload using Apple Pay was taken away and that I have to save either enter my card information every time (time consuming) or save it in the app (not comfortable with that). Big loss on this one.

My favorite is the blended Pow. I do extra shot with caramel drizzle in cup and of course whip cream sooo good

Fine app. Functions well. Just wish each visit could have an itemized digital receipt to access on the app.
Gift card upload
They took away some functions with the new update, you can no longer upload money to your account
Gift Card Missing
Still (in 2024) cannot add or check gift card in app and cannot check gift card balance on the website. When it was Roasters we could do it.
Gift Card Options Lacking.
There’s no way to see how much is on a gift card unless you go to the location. Also not an option to check balance on their website. Seems like having that option would be standard practice as everywhere else does it. Because of this reason I really hate getting Wake Up Call gift cards.
Charge up
Yesterday I could add funds by clicking “Charge Up”. The day before yesterday I couldn’t and then again today I couldn’t.

The new app is awesome! The one critique I have is there is no option to add a physical gift card to your account that you might have received as a gift. If that feature is added, then it will be a flawless app.
Why no order ahead option?
I will start off by saying I love wake up call! The staff are always friendly and the coffee is great. So my 3 stars are only for the app, not the company.
I’m on board for a new app as I understand technology changes. But if you’re going to implement a new app, why not include the option to order ahead of time? It would speed up times in the drive through lines and ensure order accuracy! Just seems like a missed opportunity
