Great App, Easy to Use
This was so much better than other camp photo systems we’ve used before and it has been so accurate in finding our kiddo. Great photos and easy to use. The updates are fun and I don’t have to guess when new photos are shared. I didn’t mind the small fee especially for the photo quality and since some of it went to the program we were supporting anyway.

Great App
I love this app! My kids’ summer camp used it for their photos and it was awesome. I loved every time the little notifications came through saying it found another pic of my camper having a blast. The facial recognition is very accurate.

Amazing how it picks out your persons of interest. Hopefully they will incorporate AI and make it better. Always room ch or improvement like identifying yours in a crowd or group.

Not Finding Photos
Why do we only upload one photo of ourselves for Waldo to use? It seems to make it take incredibly difficult for him to find all photos. I think it would be great to be able to use three of four photos to help it identify photos from different angles.
Telling family members I shared photos with they have to pay
Unbelievable! My son is at special needs camp and this company is doing the photos. I paid for the facial recognition. I went to share photos and saw they had a share option so gave Waldo their phone numbers so they could view photos. My sister called me to tell me not only did it make her download the app, she had to create an account, then when she clicked the view photos button it demanded she pay or would not let her view the photos. So basically instead of sharing with my family I’ve unintentionally hit them all up for cash to view photos of my son.

The best feature of this APP is the facial recognition capability. My son was at ‘Sleep-Away’ camp and the camp staff posted many pictures of the campers on WALDO. The APP tagged the photos that included our kid and a neighbor’s kid. Specifically the WALDO APP tagged almost all of the photos of my neighbor’s kid who is white. Unfortunately, the APP only tagged about half of the photos of our son who is black. So, WALDO has some work to do.

I love Waldo !!!! I always buy Waldo at my child’s events. They get pictures we don’t and the quality is so nice . I have all the photos I took plus the Waldo pics and it’s great to have these really great photo’s they captured of my child !!! 5 out 5 stars !!!!
Okay but frustrating
This app does a fairly good job of locating our son’s face in a crowd at camp, but on a daily basis it prompts us to either rate the app or enable notifications no matter how many times we decline to do so. So, I am finally leaving a review. The app does not link smoothly with the desktop version (it doesn’t recognize our paid account for face recognition) and the constant prompts to do things we’ve declined to do are obnoxious. The app works, but it could be a lot better.

My grandson is not a “church goer” yet every year he becomes back from the week with a positive comment and a better understanding of the value of a relationship with God.

I absolutely LOVE getting photos from Allaso Ranch camp with my kids. This app has been wonderful. We are constantly coming to check the photos and the face recognition is amazing!!!! I don’t have to filter through them all. Well, I still do for the ones where it’s hard to scan them. But for the most part. They catch them all. 💖✝️

Great app could improve
First time using this app, while our sons are at camp, it was able to quickly locate a lot of photos of both of our sons, but unfortunately, it still has some because it kept finding another child and identified it as one of our sons and so we had to do a little work to correct that. But overall pretty happy!

Constant crashing
App is very difficult to setup to access photo albums and now crashes constantly when trying to tag a face in a picture. Poorly designed.
Quality Company
My son attended an event and I received notifications for about 8 pictures he was identified in. I was happy to see him. I was disappointed that there weren’t more, but certainly didn’t blame Waldo. It was still fun to see pictures of the event. Without any prompt, I was notified by Waldo and refunded my $25 because they determined that my experience wasn’t up to their standards. WOW! They gave me my money back without me asking. I’ve never heard of that. This was a great service and I will definitely try again if the opportunity presents itself.
