Great concept (that could be better) but apparent bug

Me and my family love creating our own routes and tracking our progress on the map. HOWEVER, the app only tracks our progress individually, with no option to track/view our progress on a combined basis, which turns this into a competition app rather than a teaming challenge app we’re looking for. This would seem to be an easy enhancement. In terms of bugs, when I create a new route and invite family members, I seem to be deleted as a participant with no way to add myself back—VERY frustrating.

All stats gone

After the upgrade all of my routes are gone and it then started me over on the very first route I did.

I’m very sorry you are experiencing problems with your old routes. I did make an attempt and warned users this would happen when installing new version. But I understand the message was too subtle. The good news is this new version (though it deletes old routes) is a far superior app that works as expected. Please keep in mind. I am a one person operation. Thousands of hours went into all phases of the development of this app, from layout, coding, and all the Apple hoop jumping. It has been at time very difficult work from which you get all the benefits. Also keep in mind, I give the app (and all the labor to create it) away for FREE. I am not a greedy corporation. I am a retired educator. Now that you know this. Could you be a touch kinder and revise that rating upwards? Thanks!

Great

The interface is a bit dated but the app works well. There are similar apps out there but I like this one for its simplicity, and the ability to plot my own virtual path.

It’s good for motivation. I have been using it on my own for the past few weeks, but have just created a new trek and invited a friend to “walk with me.”

Fun, but no android support for friends

I love this app. However most of my friends use android so I cannot walk with my friends.

What happened?!

Since the update I can only see the beginning and destination pins. My friends and I are gone! I would give this app a 6 if it could go back to the way it was before the update. I loved and referred this app to so many people before. Please fix.

Should be fixed now. This is a difficult bug to track down as it does not manifest when I try to fix it - it works perfectly. Try deleting and reinstalling latest version 2.1.1. Your data is in the cloud so everything (including pins) should show back up. Please email me directly from the App and let me know if this works.
