Best value

Easily the best value as long as you have an Apple Music subscription. Lots of decent editing options if kids change their songs or nicknames easy enough to redo it.

Response from developer

That ease of editing on the fly was a primary goal for the app. That was arrived at from years of experience with how often and quickly the setup can change on game day in the rec league and travel ball realm. Thanks for noticing and providing the five star feedback!

Sucks

Only alows 4 players

Just missing the Announcer

The app is really helpful. However, unfortunately the AI announcer doesn’t work once we connect to our speaker. Otherwise, everything else works great!

Response from developer

I think we just figured out what was going on with the missing announcer. It seems there was a breaking change in late may to fix something else that would cut off announcements if you mixed them right at the end of the song and you were using an aux cable to the speaker. There is a new release submitted to the app store version 4.2.6 that should fix it for you. Should be out in just a day or so.

Great app, not perfect

This is thee app to get for baseball DJs. Lets you manage multiple teams and various game situations, not just walkouts. Integrates well into Apple Music but not Spotify. Also has some nuance in volume controls but performs as expected greater than 95% of the time. Multiple options included for AI generated announcements with a wide range of actors voice tones and temperature and adjustable pitch and speed. This does make it somewhat involved to dial in your customization but the endless variations it unlikely that your voice will sound like any other team’s at the ballpark. You may also record your own announcements or hire a professional through the app. Overall it is extremely well thought out and put together.

App keeps messing up

The volume on my walkout announcements with my JBL is sporadic and frankly embarrassing. Doesn’t work well. Time for a new app

Not what i was expecting

The way this was advertised made it seem like you have access to a ton of songs with the payment. However this is not accurate. You have to either use the songs on your device you downloaded the app to or buy songs

Walkups done right

Best app for walkup songs. Worth the money.

MAKES EXTRA NOISES

When using an iPad every time we select a player for the song to play the app makes the JBL Flip 5 speaker make extra noises while playing the song. It makes a sound like the song is skipping. We’ve messed with every setting trying to fix this issue and nothing works. We’ve never had an issue with the speaker before and when we play it using other device it works fine. If I use just my IPad to play the lineup it works as well but my speakers on my IPad aren’t loud enough for the boys or the spectators to hear it. The app was easy to make the line up and put the songs in but not being able to play it for the kids when they walk up is very frustrating.

Response from developer

I was able to test with the JBL flip 5 and I did find an issue where it makes a rather nasty repeating kathunk noise at the beginning of song playback but only if you have the volume turned all the way up to max. As a workaround, you can push the volume down button just once to back off the max and the weird noise goes away. I will be releasing a new update in the next day or so v4.1.3 to address the issue. Thanks for reporting the issue and your patience as we figured out how to duplicate and resolve it.

Best walkout app with lots of configurability

Over the past few years I’ve tried many of the walkout music apps and this one continues to be the one I stick with and recommend to other parents (when they ask how I’m able to do it).

The features that make it the best for me:
- Can use my own mp3s downloaded locally (helps get the “clean” versions of songs)
- supports older iPhone 6 (repurposed old phone)
- Murf.AI voices and customizations available in-app
- multi-team support
- optional fades and audio ducking
- a VERY responsive developer team
- new features continue to be added based on user feedback/ideas

This is the gold standard, from my perspective.

Thanks for continuing to make me sound great at the games!!

Easy to use

Everything you could ask for to make walk ups for little league fun for the kids

Best baseball App (if you have Apple Music)

This app is one of the best things I’ve done as a YMCA coach and a little league baseball coach. It’s super easy to use, and the AI function makes it awesome. We can use the kids’ names, and then they play the song. Other parents have to say the name, find a song, and it just takes forever. I set it to 11 seconds, and you can also have songs between innings. You can have situational songs. It’s a phenomenal app. If you’re thinking about buying it, just make sure you have Apple Music, and that’s it.

This might be the best buyer’s guide we’ve ever gotten, you covered the names, the AI, the 11-second timing, inning breaks, and situational songs all in one shot! I was in your shoes 13 years ago and just wrote the app to fill all those functions that I found necessary. Very glad to hear the same problems can be solved the same way all these years later!

Awesome!

Great app! easy to work and trim music!

Lowers sound quality

Once the app is figured out it’s fine but the app lowers the sound quality. I have a turtle box and when I play through here it doesn’t sound loud at all. The other team’s Walmart speaker is louder. When I just play through Apple Music the volume is fine. Seems to be an issue from other users too.

Glitchy

Got everything setup. Downloaded the songs as to ensure best playback. After moving from one batter to the next a few times, the app silences. The song shows it is still playing, but there is no sound. This is terrible to have happen every few batters. Sometimes you only get a few seconds for a song and sometimes the beginning of the song is the focal point…but when the app adjust volume to 0 you miss these scenarios. There has got to be something better out there

Please get the latest update from 4/21/26, version 3.3.1 and try that again. The last update from a week before had an attempt to resolve volume restore issues with JBL speakers and inadvertently was causing issues with other Bluetooth speakers that did not have issues before. If the latest update doesn't resolve it for you, then please email to walkoutsongdj@gmail.com with the make and model of speaker you are using and we will help you resolve it one way or another.

Downloaded for AI voice generation

Downloaded for AI voice generation for a little league team walkout announcement as advertised on the screenshots. Does not work at all. Says the model isn’t working at the moment. Waste of money.

Exceptional

Works great!!

Easy and Simple

It could not be simpler!

Better then ballpark dj

I took a chance on getting this app after growing tired of ballpark dj and the delays I kept having with the songs start times (yes I read the help section on this trying to not have to switch apps)

This app is very basic in looks
And works wonderful. No wait time. Super easy to navigate. The only issue I have is when I press play it makes a weird low sound at first for like a second
Or two. I just used it this past weekend so haven’t had a chance to go into the app to see if I can fix this.

If you could email to walkoutsongdj@gmail.com with some details of your configuration, we would be glad to help debug that low sound you describe. I'm guessing you have a bluetooth speaker in the mix and I would need to know the speaker make and model, how you connect to it (bluetooth or aux), and the apple device make an model.

User friendly!

Way easier to figure out than ballpark dj. Love that it’s a one time fee as well.
