Mostly very useful

It’s useful to have an app that can hold loyalty cards and generally the app is fine. However I do find that the Apple Wallet cards it creates often don’t scan as there isn’t enough space before / after the barcode itself to let scanners detect it. Fixing that would make this a 5* app.

New Update Broke Export to Wallet

No longer can export to wallet. 3 dots in upper right (where export or share might appear) is non-functioning. I tried restarting and uninstalling/reinstalling (which, of course meant losing my existing cards and templates within the app).

You are right, and we are sorry. In 1.23 we moved "Add to Apple Wallet" into the navigation bar, where on some screens it collapsed into a "…" menu that did nothing — exactly what you ran into. We tested the release on several devices and this still escaped our attention. Version 1.23.1 is already prepared and will land shortly. Apple's own "Add to Apple Wallet" button is back underneath the card, the navigation bar button works again, and you can now also share a card out as a .pkpass file. Thank you for describing it so precisely — it pointed us straight at the cause.

Redesign is terrible

Used to work but now it won’t work at all. It’s a huge step back. For one it forces event pass. It won’t actually create a pass outside app. Just bad.

Doesn’t work for me

There’s no way to add cards to Apple Wallet, or at least I’m not being given that option. Some of the UI translations are missing. App hangs and needs to be force quit very often, especially when trying to use help/FAQ.

Nur im aktuellen Jahr nutzbare Datum/Zeit

Eine gute App , doch man kann nur für das aktuelle Jahr ein Datum auswählen. Das Jahr ist nicht wählbar. So können Konzertkarten von 2027 nicht sauber generiert werden und ich muss warten bis zum 1.1. Vielleicht in einer nächsten Version?

Du hast völlig recht: Bei der Datumsauswahl lässt sich das Jahr aktuell nicht frei wählen, wodurch Tickets für kommende Jahre nicht sauber angelegt werden können. Das ist so nicht gewollt – wir haben es notiert und nehmen die freie Jahresauswahl in die Planung für eine der nächsten Versionen auf. The code is so small in the top corner of the pass is for a logo. There’s another + button at the bottom to add the actual QR

Room for Improvement

Good app but there are persistent issues: app does not properly scan and then import barcodes with camera; app does not recognize barcodes from imported photos; barcodes look fine in the app but then when imported to the wallet the ends are cut off.

Not sure if this is an app or Apple limitation, but it would be nice to be able to add cards as separate items in the wallet instead of them all being bundled together as a single wallet item which you have to then flip through

Good. More optimisation please

Works pretty well. I suggest maybe - 1/ you allow the app to capture the barcode number from the card and display it as a field in Wallet Creator
2/ you allow the card to show the barcode number in Apple Wallet also.

So much better than others I’ve tried

So many custom wallet apps have features locked behind paywalls or a 3 card limit which really annoys me. I love how simple this one is and that I don’t have to pay a fortune just to have cards in my wallet. Just one feature I’ve seen in other apps that would really make this one awesome is the ability to change grouping. As is when you add multiple cards to your wallet they all group together and are harder to see. The ability to stop cards from grouping would make this the perfect app.

Can’t import barcode from photos

App does not accept the barcode from my photos app, tells me my phone camera doesn’t allow scanning (access to camera allowed), which I’m not trying to do because I’m importing from my photos.

Schnell, schlank, gut!

Genau wonach ich gesucht habe. Eine schlanke, schnelle und transparente App die ohne Datensammlung auskommt. Datenschutz-Themen werden in den FAQ dargelegt. Eine Funktion fehlt mir allerdings: Die Möglichkeit die Gruppierung zu beeinflussen wäre in der Handhabung der erstellen Karten super!

Hallo und vielen Dank – genau so soll Wallet Creator sein: schlank, schnell und ohne Datensammelei! Zur Gruppierung: die legt leider Apple Wallet selbst anhand des Kartentyps fest, nicht die App – Event-Tickets werden nie gruppiert, alle anderen Kartentypen dagegen immer. Eine Einstellung zum Ändern können wir daher nicht anbieten (wir haben das auch in der App-Beschreibung vermerkt). Danke dir und viele Grüße, dein Wallet Creator Team

Sorta works. I get an item on my watch but it doesn’t have the store name if I add a gift card. Not very helpful.

Great with one fall-back

I was able to create a couple of wallet cards that I wanted to act as business cards, however, when downloaded or shared to others they are always grouped together like a pack of tickets for an event would be. I even tried making cards on another’s phone.

Hi, thanks for your feedback! The grouping you're seeing comes from Apple Wallet itself: Apple groups passes by their pass type, and only Event Tickets are never grouped together — all other types always are. One workaround: if you create your business cards using the "Event Ticket" pass type instead, they won't be grouped with each other. It's not exactly what that type is meant for, but it does prevent the grouping. Hope that helps! Your Wallet Creator team

Errors

Created a card that didn’t work and also didn’t allow me to remove it from my wallet. I’m waiting for the dev to contact me so will update this review as it develops.
