better on android

It’s kinda annoying to use without paying because you have to add the widget versions of the wall habit apps which is still attached to the wallhabit app itself, so in order to get to wallhabit i have to close out instagram and then tap again if you blocked it. I think it’s way better on android because it actually affects the distracting apps itself

Works with no problem and is free!

Best App Out There

I have used WallHabit since I have been an Android User, and nothing works better than it. I was surprised to see how they worked around IOS having a more restrictive control of apps through other app (E.g control YouTube App with WallHabit).
And I am very amazed at the workaround WallHabit developer found, 10/10 thank you guys!

Really Appreciate This App

I really appreciate this app and the people working on it— I looked for a while to find an app that would get rid of Youtube Shorts and this is the only one that does it consistently and without having to pay for it. The app is a little buggy (need to press the YT widget button twice to open, sometimes sound gets a little messed up) but it works for blocking shorts everytime and I can see improvements being made every update. Will definitely continue to use!!

FAQ

What does WallHabit do?

WallHabit is designed to help you reduce distractions and use technology more intentionally. It works by creating a brief pause before you can access distracting apps or specific features within apps, such as shorts and reels. This pause acts as a commitment device, encouraging you to think before you scroll and ultimately helping you break bad digital habits.

How does the customizable challenge work?

The app's core feature is a customizable challenge where you must hold down a button for a set duration to unlock an app. You can personalize this unlock duration, making it a unique and effective way to make you pause and consider if accessing the app is truly necessary. This simple physical action helps you become more aware of your digital habits.

Can I block specific parts of apps, like reels?

Yes, WallHabit offers selective blocking, allowing you to block addictive features within apps, such as shorts and reels. This means you can still use social media or other applications for their intended purposes while cutting out the distracting elements that consume your time and attention.

Is WallHabit free to use?

The application is free to download and use, with in-app purchases available. This freemium model allows users to experience the core benefits of the app for free, with options to unlock additional features or enhance their experience through purchases.

Who is this app for?

This app is ideal for anyone struggling with excessive screen time, mindlessly scrolling through social media, or finding it difficult to concentrate on important tasks like studying or working. It's for individuals who want to build a healthier relationship with their devices and improve their overall productivity and wellbeing.
