What's New in Wander

1.4

June 23, 2026

The biggest Wander update yet — a simpler app, now on iPad, with smarter ways to organize your walks. NEW • Now on iPad — Wander is universal. Your saved walks sync across iPhone and iPad through your own private iCloud database. • A simpler, single-screen design — your Logbook is now the home of the app. No more tabs; your walks are front and center, with Settings a tap away. • Folders, the Notes way — group walks into folders and tap to drill in. Give each folder its own color and icon so your Logbook reads at a glance. • Search your walks — find any walk by name, place, or date. • Edit a saved walk — remove a stop and Wander rebuilds the route around it. • Fun walk names — every walk is saved automatically with a name drawn from the time of day and distance (Morning Stroll, Afternoon Trek, Evening Odyssey…). Rename anytime. • Elevation chart — a smoothed altitude curve read from your photos' GPS, synced to playback. Tap the mountain icon to show it. • Replay with a photo viewer — press play and watch a marker travel your route while a picture-in-picture viewer shows each photo as you pass it, starting with your very first shot. • Pin clustering — nearby photos group under a single pin with a count, so dense walks stay readable. Pick which photo represents each cluster. • A polished share image — send any walk as a card carrying the route, the stats, and a "Made with Wander" sign-off. Choose light or dark, and portrait, square, or landscape. • A fresh look — a new app icon and launch screen, a clean Liquid Glass design, and a brighter accent throughout. FASTER & MORE RELIABLE • Big performance and memory improvements — the Logbook opens faster and large libraries stay smooth, even on older iPhones. • More dependable iCloud sync across your devices. • Sharing via Messages now reliably reaches every recipient, with smaller, faster images. Plus many fixes — correctly oriented photo thumbnails, a steadier Logbook layout after importing, and more. Private by design: no account, no ads, no tracking. Your photos never leave your device. Lace up and see where you've been.
