Finally an AR game with a homesteading component!
I’ve tried most AR games that have come out since the Ingress days. This one has a quaint/calm vibe and is a fun companion on a stroll where you are happy to stop occasionally to interact with the game (when you feel it vibrate).
There is a homesteading mechanic which is something I’ve been hoping for in the AR game world. You can use the money you earn brewing and selling potions to purchase little garden plots to grow ingredients, a house, and various decorations. This means there’s some stuff to do even at home. Pets to gather ingredients is a fun touch as well.
I love that the game is not collecting and selling my location data. My (aged) battery seems fine playing this.
