A solid game missing that Warhammer magic

The gameplay here is very good if you like the auto-battler type of game. It’s also got a lot of character and a good player base.

However, Warhammer is about all the cool factions duking it out on the battlefield. Since Soul Arena only features some Chaos and Order factions, with no sign of an update on the horizon, the game feels very incomplete. I hope they give it some much-needed love with a new battlepass along with Death and Destruction captains.

Fun auto chess

I like this ! I wanted to get into TFT but I prefer the warhammer lore better and the tutorial was pretty decent at teaching the game. Also nice this plays in portrait mode too. Overall a decent game.

Like the game, visuals need work. Some units don’t work as they’re supposed to.

I really enjoy the game so far. But the visual clarity of what’s happening during a battle is really really bad. A lot of ranged units attacks seem to not have visual effects and I can’t really tell what is going on. Additionally I had a unit that was a really big investment and when I upgraded it was supposed to summon two tornadoes instead of one and it only summoned one. I think ranged units need more visual effects to see what’s going on and overall there needs to be more visual clarity during battles.

Great but needs more units

This game is awesome and fun and I personally think that it is great. What would make it even better is if they added more races like orruks. Please add orruks. Also more units for all the other races. 👍

Fun auto chess style game

The game is pretty fun. As long as it keeps getting updates it should be great for a long time.

I am completely free to play and still really enjoy it. I don’t see a pay to win aspect, although you can get small boosts faster by paying. You don’t need them to enjoy the game.

I wish the tutorial were a bit more extensive. It doesn’t teach a bunch of things that are nice to know, and won’t be obvious unless you have play other auto chess style games.

All in all it’s great.

Only Order and Chaos?

The game is good, but takes WAAAY too long to play a match. Also, why are there only Order and Chaos armies? You’ve got to add Death and Destruction soon.

Unstable

Love the game. But unit stats change with no notice. Had mythic rank 300 then today randomly lost all my rank- can’t find any update notes about it anywhere so I’m starting over. Units synergy’s change with no notice. Crystal duplicates leading to more duplicates is awful.

I like this game, but it feels unstable.

Pretty good game

Like the title says it’s a good game. It looks good it’s fun and it’s warhammer. What’s not to love? I look forward to where this game is heading. Though there is one problem, sometimes the animations on the characters big out. Sometimes it’s the walking or attacking animation. But other than that nothing else os really bad about this game.

Solid Auto Chess

Haven’t played long but so far it’s a super solid auto chess game with a nice unit variety excited to see the traits swap around as time goes on. Great if you like AOS or anything Warhammer in general.

Great Game, Bit of a Slog

I really enjoy this game and love what it offers. My only complaint is that the games just take too long. A 1v1 option would be nice.

New to auto chess. Nearly quit at first. I’m glad I didn’t.

This game is rough on new players. The tutorial, which I understand the team is working on, doesn’t really give you enough info to play effectively when you start. This is exacerbated by the worst achievement I think I have ever seen in a game—the ‘loser’ badge for failing a consecutive number of rounds. Made me feel like I got kicked in the teeth for my lack of understanding of the mechanics. Though I nearly rage-uninstalled, I am glad I chose to power through. The core gameplay is really fun once you get it. Here are some things the tutorial doesn’t tell you. First off, the synergies of each unit are highlighted next to them in the buy area, and any units you already own will glow. This makes quick decisions easier when you don’t know the unit details. Speaking of, you can learn about all the units and captains by clicking around in the interface between games. That UI isn’t intuitive, but all the info is in there if you hunt a little. Next up, gems and economy are everything. Money buys power. Don’t be afraid to reroll LIBERALLY. That is how others are building two-star units so fast! It’s also ok to start small and build up for later game. Don’t worry about losing early rounds so much because you have fewer or less powerful units. Save up for the future and stick to a plan. Don’t just field a bunch of random units. Wait for synergies and copies. Always buy shadowstones. Finally, be patient and have fun! Play against bots if you don’t want to lose to people; it is the same game without quite as much challenge, with the same rewards for playing and wins.

Less than garbage.

Literally can’t play it. Played the tutorial got into 2 matches, experienced game breaking “bugs” immediately.

Bugged in First Fight Couldn’t Interact

Halfway into my first PvP match 90% of the touch controls stopped working. I could view my units but I couldn’t buy new units, couldn’t rearrange my board between fights, or even select a card. So everyone else got stronger and I kept losing.

Awful learning curve.

The tutorial is as basic as it gets. Went to practice arena against bots. All that is, is a losefest. No instructions on if or how to swap out characters from the bench. So many characters of different classes you need to learn. I mean you have no clue what is what. Could be a cool game but having no idea how to play it or what is going on ruins it.

Not Pay to Win is a Win

Top 700 player and this is the first multiplayer mobile game I’ve ever actually enjoyed. Without a pay to win mechanic this game actually requires thought and planning. Not just people bullying themselves to victory with their wallets.
