Where to go for business.

I read the WBJ each and every week. It is the source for business information in the DMV.

It’s clunky

It’s clunky

Subscription disaster

I purchased a digital subscription on my iPhone and an unable to access content on my iPad. Why???

Poor accessibility setting and missing galleries

You have to adjust the size of text in every story vs at the app level or using iOS settings. Very cumbersome experience. Also anytime a story referee to “the gallery below for details…” there is no gallery at all. So the meat of the story is missing. Poor experience especially for paid subscribers.

Love the WBJ…Hate the App

I have an iPhone 12 Max pro. From this phone, the WBJ app is clunky, difficult to read and cuts off articles…When I receive emails it takes me directly to their website and doesn’t recognize on the backend that I’m a paid subscriber. When I login it will ask me to subscribe when I am already a paid subscriber and when I click no (again because I am already a paid subscriber) it then kicks me out of reading the article…other news orgs that I subscribe to like the post and NYT, when I click on an article to read I love how it takes me directly to my app (not the website) and lets me scroll and read seamlessly. I could certainly choose to find my way to my computer, but if these digital bugs don’t make it seamless for me to consume content, I may consider canceling my subscription. I hope this review helps the tech team make improvements. I really do love the quality of business reporting!

October 2019 update is broken

Since the October 2019 update, only issues through August 2019 are available for viewing. Please fix.

Not a free app

You get one story (not 3 like it says in the app), and then you have to subscribe. I’m all for subscribing if I like the content, but didn’t get a chance to find out.

Delivery sporadic

2 weeks ago I stupidly bought a one year. Sub to this paper.

Love it!

WBJ is great! I love the content and layout.

Needs more content

It took me 30sec to go over all five of the articles they had to offer.

Useful for DC business readers

With the demise of the Post business section, WBJ has provided a simple and useful app. Currently (07/09) it offers full access to articles and daily updates.

Articles are presented as a stream, not by industry or author. In the future I hope they will add this capability. Good first effort, no crashes.
