Canceling

Love WAEX articles. Usually well written and on meaningful topics. A refreshing change from the MSM that gaslights the public into oblivion. But sadly the app is horrendously non-user friendly. Signing in alone is a chore that often closes the app before I can start using it. I’d rather just pay more for the printed copy of the current issue. I’m canceling.

Fix it

How hard can it be to write a news app. I am sure an ai can build an app in seconds and it is ten times better than the current app. Get it together and fix it so I can enjoy your content please.

Content great - app bad

It is hard to use this app to get at the great. Washington Examiner content because this app is so ‘flakey’.

App is costing you readers

I’m newly intrigued by your publication but, alas, your Iphone app doesn’t really work. I won’t waste my time describing the crashing and other problems which your devoted readers already outline. I’ll just add a heads up that you lost this potential new reader. I’ll check back in a couple months to see if you fixed it. Guys, just hire a decent app developer to code you a new app asap. It’s your most important budget item for this quarter if you want readers under retirement age

Teenage programmers are at it again

The moron app programmers are AGAIN today. allowing ads to block the ability to watch videos article. Can’t get past the WIX ad for the past 5 minutes. I will NEVER purchase from WIX because the they prevent me from watching a news video.

I had to delete the app

The ads were so intrusive and irrelevant to me that I decided to delete the app. Ads could not be closed so I couldn’t read the content. I enjoyed the Examiner when I got hard copies in the DC metro area but this digital version is not worth the frustration.

Can’t get by pop up ads

When on this site, sometimes I can’t even get to the articles. instead, I get one ad after the other. When I attempt to X out the ad it will only expand. This app is the absolute worst for that.

Worthless App

When I try and open an article I always get sent to an advertisement and can’t navigate to the news article. The app is a wast of space.

App written by a fifth grader.

This app is awful. Really tough to read the news when you are bombarded by ads, pop ups and frozen content.

App unusable

App worked fine until a few months ago.

But now You can read the headlines but when you click on the story an ad comes up. But the ad will never go away so you can read the story. Every once in awhile you can get a story but once you are finished you can’t navigate back to headlines. I’ve even reloaded the app and it still fails.

Used to be interesting but the iPhone app has become buggy and not worth the effort.

Writing RINOs

If I could give zero stars, I would. Writing a hit piece against a former president who is in fact, not a convicted felon, is just a big of sham as the case in New York. This whole company should be dismantled. You do not represent the conservative movement.

Frustrating

Glitchy app. Articles don’t load properly. Pop-ups won’t close. When pop-ups do close, they stall the app and make it unusable.

Good articles but ads not closing killing it

Can’t close the pop up ads to read the articles. Once I click on an article a pop up ads blocks article and can’t be closed. Be nice to see more than the headlines.

Using teenage app programmers again

You guys never learn. When the ads prevent me from reading the article you’ve screwed up. Not the first time this has happened with the crappy Washington Examiner app. This time it’s Caesars Sportsbook. Can’t “x” or escape from the ad. Have to close the app and try to avoid the ad when I re-open. You’ve got a crappy app. It’s been crappy for years. Get some real programmers why don’t you?

Examiner should get a refund

I know high school students who could write a mobile app at least 10x better than this one. Simple activities like copy-paste are almost impossible to use. As a subscriber, I found it difficult to log in.

A 5 year old could create a better app

This app hasn't been updated in 6 years. Its navigation is nonexistent. Literally. It crashes. Any high schooler could put together a better app in serving the content in about an hour. Yet the Washington Examiner, who content I love and rely on, won't shell out a nickel to bring this app into 2024. It's currently stuck somewhere in 2005. Don't bother using it. The website is better but only marginally.

Very buggy app

Content is great. App is hard to use. Seems to forget my sign-in credentials. Very annoying.

Needs updating

Way too many pop up ads and videos that interfere with reading articles.

Not even trying

I most desperately wanted an alternative to Fox News. I found an article that your organization might be a decent alternative. I downloaded your app and quite literally have never experienced a bigger lack of effort in my life. This app is riddled with ads, to the point where you can't even sign up or subscribe because the ads constantly pop in to the page and interfere with your efforts to just simply through your email address. Quite literally you cannot enter your email address without 10 or 15 different tries and then only if you get extremely lucky and can beat the pop-up ads that will interfere. Come on guys. Just try a little. Our team needs people that will try just a little bit more. The other side is handing us our backsides and companies like yours are so apathetic. With apps like this.
