Sorry for the trouble. Cancelling stops future renewals, but a charge that was already in progress can still go through — and the billing itself is handled by Apple, not by us. Please check Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions to confirm it's cancelled, and request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
