Das Mikrofon der Kopfhörer mit etwas Spannung auf die Krone legen, Empfindlichkeit auf 90%
einstellen und es gibt klare Ergebnisse wenn man alleine im Raum ist.

can’t get a consistent reading on iphone 15
Long Case Pendulum Clock
Seams to have worked well in setting the beat using the beat error and rate measurement functions. Supposedly anything between 10 & 20 ms beat error is acceptable on a long case pendulum clock but I was able to get down to an avg of 7ms with 10200 samples.
App is useless at measuring BPH due to the lack of a decimal reading in the BPH measurement. Had to use a stopwatch and manually count them. Changed the pendulum nut three full turns but BPH never changed. Read 3600 then entire time although manual measurement started at 3660 and ended at 3600.
Please update app to add two decimal places to the BPH measurement.

Works very well
Some experimentation will be needed to get the phone to best be able to hear the watch, i touched the crown to the phone mic, but once that is figured out it will read sufficiently well enough to get your watch regulated. Mine was slowing several mins daily and the beat error was hight (it gets roughed up). Now it is +/- negligible. Pretty surprised at the apps utility and effectiveness.

Needs a reset button and better accuracy
Couldn’t get a consistent Bph. Registered as high as 66600 and I know that’s not possible especially on a simple manual wind caravelle.

Useful software
I used this utility to adjust my seiko 5 automatic movement. Initial testing indicates that it is now down to 7 seconds a day.
Tips for others.
Only use in a quiet room. Silence is best.
I used the built in mic on my iphone 8 but had to look up exactly where the mic was.
I found that sitting at a table covered with thick cloth, i was able to hold the crown against the mic and got good results.

Ich verwende die App zum Regulieren von Vostok-Uhren bei offenem Gehäuseboden. Der Raum muss allerdings absolut ruhig sein.

It works!
Yes it works using standard Apple wired earphones with mic. H not compared with a timegrapher. Needed to play around a bit to get good pickup - adjust sensitivity but check correct BPH is detected. Worked very well with watch open while I was adjusting it - located mic close to balance wheel to check between adjustments. I have a cheap GMT “homage” with DG5833GMT movement. It was running fast 60-90 secs per day. Tried to fix by trial and error: hand timing over a few hours after adjustment, but found I had moved the beat error lever instead of the rate lever. Easy to fix with this app and now have good beet error and good rate. Thanks!

How does this work? 10 mins for nothing
I paid for this app and went to cook an omelet for about 10 minutes while my phone measured over 500 samples and this yields absolutely zero info.

Ich wollte mir schon für 200 Euro eine Zeitwaage kaufen, was viel Geld für ein Gerät ist, dass ich nur gelegentlich für den „Gesundheitscheck“ meiner Armbanduhr brauche. Ich bin dann aber auf diese äußerst kostengünstige Lösung per App gestoßen.
Die App funktioniert perfekt, wenn sie das Ticken hört. Was nicht geht, ist die Verwendung des Handymikrofons. Das ist zu unempfindlich! Man erkennt das schon daran, dass nicht einmal die Frequenz der Unruh richtig erkannt wird. Gut funktionierte es (wie auch in der Hilfe empfohlen) mit einem Headset-Mikrofon, das ich gegen den Gehäuseboden presste.
Zur Messung der Amplitude muss der „Lift Angle“ richtig eingegeben werden. Hierzu findet man Tabellen im Internet, die alle wichtigen Uhrwerke abdecken.

Quick and easy
I just strap on the watch then slide the wired EarPod microphone between watch and my wrist. This gives instant readings of rate with my arm in each position - as if walking, reading, driving, typing.
For what it’s worth, it works
If you just want to regulate a fast or slow watch, it’ll help. The readings can be inconsistent, definitely to do multiple tests to see if the app is reading correctly.
Use the mic on Apple EarPods headphone. The developers must have tuned the app for the Apple EarPods mic specifically. It did not pick up my lav mic at all, even when the mic was placed directly on the movement. Switched over to the EarPods and it started reading immediately.
Best results came from opening the case, and laying the mic directly on top of the movement.
Accuracy? Not sure, as I don’t have a timegrapher. From watching comparisons, seems to be in the range of the real thing. Probably say you’d want to add +/- 3-8 seconds to any reading.
In the end, it helped regulate a 1971 movement to within +/- 1.2 seconds (probably +/- 5-10 sec on a timegrapher) and now the watch actually keeps decent time.

Ich habe diese App getestet, die anderen werden ähnlich sein.
Ich habe drei Citizen Automatic Werke 8200 gemessen. Alles mit dem Apple Headset, Kontakt mit den Uhren am Mikrofonesymbol am Lautstärkeregler.
1. Mikrofon an der Krone mit direktem Kontakt, Impulse sind schwach, App kann auswerten. Mikrofon außen am Uhrengehäuse geht nicht!
2. Mikrofon an der Krone oder auf dem Gehäuse: bei beiden Methoden reicht die Lautstärke der Impulse nicht zum Messen aus.

It's been a year since the last update while the developers other 2 watch timer apps received numerous updates, the latest 2 weeks ago. Maybe the developer forgot about this paid app?

Gives wildly different results for the same watch!
I placed the Apple earbud microphone against the watch crown in a quiet room as instructed, and adjusted the sensitivity slider until the measurement "quality" readings were 100% before saving the results. I did this four times for the same watch, which is only a couple of months old, and got rate readings of -5.9, -2.3, -4.4, and -1.6 seconds/day.
I don't think that this app is accurate enough to be useful.
