I’ve been trying to update my watch and every single time I try to update I keep getting a stupid “Unable to install update” message it doesn’t matter what I do to try it. I even unpaired and can’t pair back because this update won’t install.
Oxygen app
Absolutely useless on Apple Watch 10 bought in Australia in genius store. Takes daytime readings but not nighttime. It is all set correctly. Have asked Apple. Was working fine until recent IOS26 updates. Now it’s random. Might take two readings a night. I paid a lot of money for this watch.
A $20 Hue light bulb can change to any color but a $1k Apple Watch cannot
Also look to Garmin for watch face designs that are actually useful

Can’t update
I can’t update the software, it’s loading and nothing. My watch cannot connect to phone properly

Can’t update watch
I m trying to update my watch from last 2 years but it shows unable to connect to internet despite having wifi connected. At first my watch was working fine only problem was not getting updated but now apple has deliberately stuck my watch in it’s initial mode so the watch is useless. All these steps towards my watch to become useless were guided by Apple

Unable to install update in order to use watch
I have been stuck in the pairing process for months. I’ve tried multiple times to update or pair my watch to my phone in order to use it. Every time I do the update and wait 3 hours for it to install it tells me I’m not connected to WiFi. I have tried multiple different WiFi networks and same error every time. Why do I need to update it before I can pair it? On top of this, the only option in the app is to update or cancel. There is no solution. When I looked into this, I found many users experiencing the exact same issue. Apple needs to fix this.

Whenever your watch unpairs you need to erase and reset it it to reconnect with your phone
Broken Complications
We spend thousands of dollars on Apple products, so it's frustrating when basic features continue to have issues. The Apple Watch has had ongoing problems with location services over the years, and I've lost count of how many times updates have affected connectivity or syncing. Since updating to iOS 26.6.1, my location is no longer syncing properly with my Apple Watch. Unfortunately, this is just another issue in a long list of recurring problems that I've experienced. I understand that software bugs can happen, but these types of issues seem to appear far too often for a premium product. Reliability is one of the reasons people choose Apple, so it's disappointing when core features stop working after updates. At this stage, I've simply had enough. After years of dealing with one issue after another, I won't be buying another Apple Watch again.

Tried to force me to a "new face" with no way to get back.
So I was looking at where a widget appeared on my watch face after the latest update (required because I stupidly allowed an "upgrade" to Liquid Glass which has been nothing but trouble for me and interactions with websites and also its ugly), and I thought I'd see if I could move it.
The Watch app on my phone said "make a copy of your custom face" (the one that I'd tweaked and had for years and WANT TO KEEP), and the copy was... stuff all in the wrong place. And then every time I wanted to try going back to the old version, it wouldn't let me! "Make a new face! This one won't be deleted." No "select" option, and it'd settled on a face I didn't want.
I had to delete the awful attempts, go to my actual watch on my wrist, find Settings > Clock > Swipe to Switch Faces [on]. Then swipe to the correct face. Then go back to Settings and reverse all those so I don't accidentally swipe again.

I am not a creature that likes novelty on my watch. I want to keep it EXACTLY the way I had it, and move the new element to the side. This is not possible. The app is being bad and its designers should feel bad and guilty and like worthless UI-programmers until they fix it.

Great watch but doesn’t even sync with iPhone
They call it “Binding” - if I turn BT off it says disconnected and if I turn BT on it still says disconnected - terrible and there’s ZERO support available
2 watches - Not Working within 20 months

This is related to my Apple Series 9 watch which I started using in October 2024. I started facing issue with this watch around June end July beginning of 2025 as it started giving siren on its own and was not working properly.
I gave it to a service centre and it got replaced by another unit - I do not know why the earlier watch stopped working.
Again in July 2026 the replacement also started giving problems - siren was going on for a few days and after that the watch stopped charging.
Ultimately I went to the service station and they charged me 5% of the watch price only to check the issue. They said after a week that the product cannot be repaired and you will have to purchase a new watch as not under warranty.
My concerns are about the quality of the product which comes from a big Brand like Apple - 2 watches doing defunct within 20 months which is absolutely not something that Apple would be proud of.
I have had a talk with the customer care centre and they say that they can do nothing as the product is out of warranty. I asked for the email id and sent them an email regarding my issue but they haven’t bothered to revert.
Hence I am absolutely put off by this non responsive attitude from the company. I will not endorse this Brand ever and my next mobile change will be from Apple to anything else since the product is no longer reliable as it should be.

GIVE US WHAT WE ASK FOR
For the love of everything, give the people what they’re freaking asking for. I want to be able to add more things to the top and bottom of any watch face. Top left. Bottom left. Top right. Bottom right. Let me personalize it the way I WANT TO! As a whole it could be so much better but you’re not.
Step count!!
Can there finally be an option for a simple STEP COUNT? I’d love to view my step count on my watch without having to download a separate app thats glitchy. How does the watch have every other activity (eg. “daily step distance) option but NOT STEP COUNT??

Why don’t you have a complete app that handles everything and makes it clean and easy like google? As much as we pay, do better.
Fitness rings
I love how I can see the rings close when I finish my move/stand/ exercise rings. Lately I cannot. Can you please fix this. It’s like I see it too fast or something and it doesn’t register. It does this with half of my notifications too.
