Used to be great

This used to he a fantastic app for the watch community. It used to be about engaging with like minded individuals and connecting through a shared hobby.

Now its all about being a selling platform. Facebook groups are far superior.

Where Every Watch Belongs

The best watch community on the internet. It’s one of the only places where you’ll find Casio, Timex, Seiko, Rolex, Omega, independent brands, and haute horology all appreciated equally. Whether your collection costs $50 or $50,000, people are genuinely interested in the watches and the stories behind them.

It reminds me of what the internet used to be: enthusiasts sharing knowledge, encouraging one another, and geeking out over a common passion. A refreshing community in a world of algorithms and negativity.

Unusable due to crashes

This is my second time installing the app. When it initially launched I downloaded it. I never got past the sign up process due to the app crashing. I revisited it tonight figuring that many months have gone by since my first attempt and the problems would be sorted out. Selected a username, how long I’ve been collecting, then I have to select the brands/makers that I like. This list is massive and shouldn’t be a part of the sign up stage, it’s just to intensive on the app and the hardware. Anyway, I can’t make it past this screen. The forward button is unresponsive. I try to go back and then forward, no luck. I hit back a number of times to take me to the beginning, the app crashes. Upon reloading it I get an error page telling me to try again later. I guess I’ll wait another 6 months before I try this again.

10/10 for watch lovers

The only place you’ll ever see a Casio or Timex or even a microbrand you’ve never heard of get more attention than a Rolex. A place for true enthusiasts not for the flex chasers.

Stoplight window buttons in the top left obscure the back button

This effectively makes the app a massive pain to use on iPadOS.
