Used to be great

This used to he a fantastic app for the watch community. It used to be about engaging with like minded individuals and connecting through a shared hobby.

Now its all about being a selling platform. Facebook groups are far superior.

Where Every Watch Belongs

The best watch community on the internet. It’s one of the only places where you’ll find Casio, Timex, Seiko, Rolex, Omega, independent brands, and haute horology all appreciated equally. Whether your collection costs $50 or $50,000, people are genuinely interested in the watches and the stories behind them.

It reminds me of what the internet used to be: enthusiasts sharing knowledge, encouraging one another, and geeking out over a common passion. A refreshing community in a world of algorithms and negativity.

Unusable due to crashes

This is my second time installing the app. When it initially launched I downloaded it. I never got past the sign up process due to the app crashing. I revisited it tonight figuring that many months have gone by since my first attempt and the problems would be sorted out. Selected a username, how long I’ve been collecting, then I have to select the brands/makers that I like. This list is massive and shouldn’t be a part of the sign up stage, it’s just to intensive on the app and the hardware. Anyway, I can’t make it past this screen. The forward button is unresponsive. I try to go back and then forward, no luck. I hit back a number of times to take me to the beginning, the app crashes. Upon reloading it I get an error page telling me to try again later. I guess I’ll wait another 6 months before I try this again.

10/10 for watch lovers

The only place you’ll ever see a Casio or Timex or even a microbrand you’ve never heard of get more attention than a Rolex. A place for true enthusiasts not for the flex chasers.

Stoplight window buttons in the top left obscure the back button

This effectively makes the app a massive pain to use on iPadOS.

Locked out, customer support useless

Have been locked out of my WC account on my new iPhone for the past 6 months. Tried multiple ways of contacting customer support (email, posting on WC support forums) to no vail. Problem is using Apple Login—no way to “reset password” that I could with a regular email/password login. I can only log in on my iPad—which reduces my usage by 90%+. Guess this is one way to get rid of my WC addiction—good job WC team.

Doesn't work.

Doesn't let me sign up, doesn't let me sign in. Whenever tapping on any button it has just one message "something is wrong. Please try again".

Haven’t been able to log in for half a year

Use the Apple login and it hasn’t worked. Contacted support multiple times and they don’t even respond

Literally broken sign in process

I used this app for a few years but on iOS 26, I can no longer sign in through Apple. Just gives me an error message. What a joke.

Apple Sign-In fails in iOS 26, no response from support for months

iPhone 17 and iOS 26 broke Sign-In with Apple.

Despite repeated requests to WatchCrunch support, I’ve yet to get any response.

It’s a shame as I did enjoy using WC up to this point.

Ugh, Now Just Like All Forums

Was a fine community until Max left and (1.) everyone is joining, including non hobbyist/non collectors. Folks are snide, lack any knowledge with limited wants to learn, and the feedback/posts prove it. I appreciate homages and $15 watches, but folks posting the same Addiesdive, Casio 5600, their one Rolex everyday for the sole reason to take a photo isn’t what this was about 2.) newer joiners seek reason to create controversy over politics. Avoid if you’re seeking a respite from daily hostilities. I’ll be sticking to those I collected with for 2 decades.

Full of left wing Trolls

Someone wrote a review underneath claiming that some right wing guy owned it, he’s lying through his teeth!
Nothing could be further from the truth in fact it’s the complete opposite. Doesn’t matter though there’s still a lot of knowledgeable people there. This guy that wrote that review is one of those trolls! Still a good platform even though I’ve been attacked by these TDS-ed out lefties, it got so bad I had to delete my account and start over after 3yrs after reaching out to the admin, they took two three weeks to even address the issues of me being shadow banned & being harassed by them. I’m not saying I’ll never be back but for now I’m done!

No longer a friendly place

I joined shortly before Max left. This forum used to be a casual place to actually discuss watches and horology. After the sales forum opened we now have sellers in the main forum. Even worse the political discussion has ruined the normal discussion. Between those with an agenda and the blatantly false information being posted no reasonable person should remain on this forum. Beware

Welcoming Forum

Watch collecting is a small community of folks that come from all walks in life and has. Nothing to do with price, rather it’s about how it touches you. The community is excellent at assuring politics and outside influences aren’t accepted. The app is frequently updated, easy to navigate, and now includes watches for sale.

Lots of fun!

Love sharing with my fellow watch nerds. App needs a little polish, but if it gets stuck a restart always fixes it.

Love it

Recommended for any watch lover!!

Would be good to show how many people have viewed your post

I feel the app would be better if we can see how many people have viewed our posts. Like X does. But other than that this app is really amazing for watch enthusiasts

Right Wing MAGA Bias

The owner, a right wing Asian dude, personally messaged me and threatened to delete my account if I didn’t stop posting rebuttals to MAGA right wing trolls. I deleted my account. If you’re LGBT, or left leaning, this isn’t platform isn’t for you. The owner and its moderators are MAGA bigots

Great app

It’s a great app for a watch nerd like me. Very friendly forum. No judgements, just good chat. Weekends and lunchtimes I just pop in and enjoy this guilty pleasure. A special thank you to Max.
