What's New in Watchism

1.8

May 26, 2026

Watchism 1.8 builds on 1.7 with more control over your Watch Box, deeper wear-history sorting, clearer privacy prompts, and stronger local-data reliability. - Arrange the Watch Box independently from every other watch list. Keep a saved manual layout, reorder it with a native organizer sheet, or sort by brand/name, added date, last worn, most worn, or least worn. - Sort each watch's saved wear history by last worn, oldest first, longest worn, or least worn without changing stored wear-log data or Wear Insights calculations. - Continue managing full wear histories from watch detail, including backdated sessions, edits, deletion, reopening closed sessions, closing open sessions, and source-record corrections from Wear Insights. - Keep forced 12-hour or 24-hour time display more consistent across Watchism, including watch details, wear logs, and clock-tool summaries. - Browser privacy is clearer: the in-app browser uses non-persistent website data, and selected browser-image imports do not forward browser cookies. - Photos import and linking now show explicit consent copy before opening Photos because selected iCloud Photos assets may be downloaded by iOS for the approved action. - Saved watch data, linked-photo references, custom links, saved zones, clock tools, valuation dates, CSV exports, and local photo-file handling have been hardened for safer recovery and export. - All watch data, wear logs, photos, pricing, valuations, layout preferences, and exports remain on-device.

User friendly

The best app for your collection. I am using it for a few weeks now and it is so easy. From adding your collection to tracking your wear log. The timer feature is unique to me, haven’t seen that on other apps!

A great app for watch collectors!

I love having my collection organized in a digital watch box. Watchism makes it easy to share, connect, and engage with the watch community. I also appreciate being able to curate the future of my collection, track my interests over time, and use the reference clock as a practical tool alongside the vault features. It is a thoughtful app for anyone who wants to be more engaged in the watch world.
