An app built for the 1980s

This app is so unusable. It’s like trying to read an old-school printed version of the newspaper but on a phone. There’s got to be a better way!

One track opinion pieces

The opinion pieces in the Record are consistently written with a very narrow left activist lense. Predictable and frequently inaccurate points are presented which are misleading to some readers. Such as, one opinion writer is frantic about the out of control forest fires and is furious climate change is not being blasted over every media outlet. Climate change is important but she fails to mention 85-90% of all forest fires are human caused and not because of climate change. Context and balanced discussion is often absent in the Record opinion pieces.

No paper for 2 days!!!

What is happening?

Not happy

We can’t get the Record on mote than one device!!!!

Record a hit!

My morning digital Record, with coffee is a must. It keeps me informed on all levels of news from local to global as a verifiable and enlightening source of news.

Don’t bother if you don’t have an epaper subscription.

This app was great for the first week, after that it’s asking to pay per issue. I have a digital subscription to the Record, but that does not give me access. I’m not paying for another subscription, especially when so much content is syndicated and available for free elsewhere.

I was enjoying having a paper to flip through because the Record website has a lot of stale content on it. I’m disappointed there isn’t a better option.

Downloading issue

Cannot download current issue. Download only after a few days. When I click on current issue A screen pops up asking to download iTunes and Record issue for $1.39. I am a Record subscriber.

Bring back Share option

Pretty good app. Easy to read the full paper on your phone, but you used to be able to press and hold on an article and have options to print, read text view and share. The share option would let you email or text an article. The latest update took the share option away. I’d like to see it come back ASAP.

Freezes phone

When I click on an article to read, the article appears, clean and easy to read. But there is no exit symbol. That’s it; the article is on the phone to stay until I actually turn the phone off and on again.

Please fix

This app was great for the first week. Now I can't download any papers at all. Every time I try it says "requesting delivery" and then "product not available for sale" ... what happened?
