App down refresh and status remains stopping
Controller works well but the app has caused lots of problems on my iOS 8 iPhone. Doesn’t want to refresh status to show completed or stopped and continues to show stopping.

Works well
Have used this App for years now, mainly for manual use. No major issues, noticed that the On switch takes a while to update on the App. Hardware has been good.
Amazing
This app in conjunction with the controller saves me hours every week. The app isn't perfect and the flow sensor stopped working in under 5min( small water grit in water supply) but the scheduling and manual stop start is worth its weight in gold. Cheers
Weather function fail
Great app, great controller. Gives all basic functions that a normal controller provides plus the weather control function. Very easy to setup and use. The best thing is you are able to control your irrigation system from anywhere using your mobile phone.
However, the weather forecasting function does not work on the app- stuck on a constant temperature and is not reading any rain forecasts as promised. Have tried to contact Waterme a couple of times through the website support link- no response or action.
Please fix your bug- you otherwise have an awesome product that I'd be happy to rate 5stars

Does the basics well, but that’s it
This is a review of not just the app, but the entire device, because Nymet doesn’t appear to have any other forum for discussing improvements. The device itself is basically not bad for the price. It beats pretty much all of the competition in a number of ways. Firstly the flow sensor, this really is awesome and should be standard for any App controlled sprinkler. It works well, appears to be accurate and was easy to install. Given the standalone cost of a flow sensor, this makes the Waterme extremely price competitive. The device itself also appears to be well-constructed and waterproof, preventing the needs for an add on external housing. It is sealed grommets and O-Rings on the external access points, so this is another big money saving benefit of this device over the competition. You also get a comparatively large number of controlled zones and the device appears to operate quite reliably. I haven’t had any connectivity or performance issues with it, although there did appear to be a manufacturing flaw with mine where the reset button was sticking in the case. I took it apart and re-drilled the hole slightly larger and there were no more issues. On the whole, the hardware side of things is pretty good.
Now to the software/app. The website control is quite easy to navigate, but the app is a bit awkward in the way it displays errors and manually controls each zone. It allows you to assign photos to each zone - which is a nice touch - but it also places names below the photos and enable/disable options at the side, which can make it difficult to figure out which zone you are actually turning on. Having said that it is very reliable and I haven’t had any crashes or lock ups, so as a tool for simply turning on or off sprinklers it appears to work quite well. The big failing appears to be in the weather control. It achieves this through the use of a seperate weather schedule, which allows you to either water more or less based on temperature or rainfall. Unfortunately this makes decisions over a 24 hour period. This seems a bit counterintuitive particularly when it comes to rainfall. Most people want their garden to get a set amount of water every week. If it rains on a tuesday and I normally water on a thursday, the weather functions doesn’t prevent the gardening watering. It only stops it if the watering schedule was on the same day as the rain. This is less of an issue for heat - i.e. if it’s a hot day, I am going to want it to water, but because the weather schedule is seperate to the normal schedule, this doesn’t happen. It would be far more effective if the rain schedule could be applied to every schedule, not just the weather schedule and if the rain schedule could base it’s calculations on the last x number of days of rainfall (user configured). The hot weather schedule should also be able to be applied independently, with the ability to trigger based on average heat etc.
So it’s a bi of a mixed bag. The hardware is pretty good, but the software still needs work. Unfortunately Nymet doesn’t appear to have updated the app recently, so it’s hard to say weather it’s worth taking a chance on the waterme or going for one of the more advanced (but more expensive) systems out there. On the whole it doesn’t quite do what it promises with weather scheduling, but it’s probably worth taking a punt given the free flow sensor. If you’re listening Nymet, fix the weather scheduling, you guys have a potentially great product at a great price point.
