User since 2016 - Very Disappointed
Iāve been using Wattpad since 2016, and the older versions were honestly the best. We used to be able to save so many offline stories, but the app has gotten worse with every new update. Now, it constantly crashes when I try to write long comments, and I can't even read all the comments properly. Please fix these issues and make the app usable again.

i enjoy reading on this app, iāve had it for some years now and it is great. Though the ads now are way too much , I remember when there were barely any ads , there were some ads but too a minimal and that would be my only problem. You canāt get pass a single chapter without an app coming up . Overall nice app

I am sicking and tired of all these adds! I remember not too long ago you can read books with out adds! Now itās every page is an Add and itās ridiculous and I am not paying for something that should be free! Do better Wattpad!

I used to love Wattpad. But really? A subscription thatās so BS I get why you want to support writers but you make it so expensive just like the coins. And really ads on every chapterā¦itās ridiculous
The app is too slow and crashes most of the time
Nearly 2 years ago I spent a lot of time on this app reading variety of stories published, it was fun back then. But now for the last 7-8 months, the app refuses to let the reader browse anything let alone read something. The home page is stuck in loading mode but never loads. The stories donāt load. You are unable to search and look for new reads because the brief glimpse page also doesnāt load. Some days the saved stories also doesnāt load. The adās run perfectly except for what the app was intended for. Multiple uninstalls and re-installs failed to help. There is no proper support from the app developers. It is frustrating and disappointing as an avid reader. Hope the develop fix the issues soon.

The consistent ads after each page is incredibly annoying, I use to love this app until they got so money hungry and pretty much shoved ads in you face

Ad bug
This app just had a bug fix update but theres an issue with the ads. Some ads you can X out of once its finished but 50 % of the time you are stuck on it and the only way to get to the next chapter is to close the app and reopen it. And then it will just keep happening every couple of chapters. Literally so annoying I cant even read in peace lol

Is it even worth having?
I have been using Wattpad for years. It use to be a good app to find creative storyās. But now it just full of ads unless you want to pay for ad free.

It just keeps saying āupdate not postedā or āfailed to postā. For the love for God just make this a known issue for crying out loud and fix the issue!!

Reached out to them for help about deleting an old account and they did nothing. Asked a bunch of questions that I would not have remembered since itās been years. Super disappointed and canāt even reach anyone on an actual phone!

wattpad used to be one of the best places to read fics from any fandom but then you got over taken by greed and started to add too many ads between chapters, I miss the time I was able to read a full fic no ads between chapters. there was no paid books and no subscriptions to remove the ads. Even if youāve increased your revenue youāve upset life long users of your apps. itās hard to find the things I want to read anymore and sitting through 10 or more minutes of accumulating ads is horrible. This little app made my literacy incredible and now younger generations canāt access it the same due to corporate greed. Iāve deleted this app so many times but redownload to read certain things I cant find on the much better ao3. You might find pulling back on the ads and the paid books will do you better and increase people coming back to use wattpad.

Why so many ads?
I get that you want ads to earn money, but in this case itās absolutely horrendous. Why do I have an ad every page or two when itās a ten second read? Maybe do a side advertisement so it doesnāt interrupt our reading
