WauWasser Zurich helps you quickly find public drinking fountains near you: perfect for walks, workouts, or when you’re out with your dog. Interactive Map Explore over 900 fountains from the official City of Zurich Open Data; now enhanced with a live backend. All fountains are displayed directly on the map for an immediate overview. Always Up-to-Date Fountain data is now connected to an online database, ensuring more accurate and continuously improving information. Offline data remains available as a fallback when needed. Dog-Friendly Fountains Quickly spot fountains suitable for your dog with dedicated markers. Fountain Details View name, distance, accessibility (public/private), drinking water status, and additional information such as district, year built, and materials. Navigation Start a route directly to any fountain, or open the location instantly in Apple Maps or Google Maps. Community Contributions Help improve the map: - Add missing fountains directly from the map - Submit location, details, comments, and optional photos - Report issues like “no water” or “closed” (all reviewed before being published) Track Your Visits Mark fountains as visited Personalization - German / English - Light / Dark mode - Choose your dog (pixel art) Data Source Based on Open Data Zurich (City of Zurich), enriched by community contributions.

• Fountain data is now connected to an online database, with offline data available as a fallback when needed. • Missing fountains can be reported directly from the map, including location, basic details, an optional comment, and an optional photo. • Fountain issue reports are now submitted online for review. • Fountains can now be marked as “visited,” and the icon updates visually to reflect this status. • The map now displays all fountain points directly without clustering, for a more immediate overview. • The fountain detail screen now includes direct options to open the location in Apple Maps and, when available, in Google Maps.
