WAVES OTT App is good initiative taken by Prasar Bharati in field of digital authentic content. Lot of nostalgic content included that remembrance us 80s and 90s Doordarshan.
But nothing is 100% efficient, all have some paucity , so good thing is identify them and correct.
For better experience required some attention.
1. Navigation very slow and app crash while in use multiple times.
2. App hangs repeatedly
3. Watch History not working properly.
4. Adds skip not available like Ytube , adds showing other vernacular language that you have not opt in language settings.
5. Add showing in content when you skip without watching.
6. Signature tune very irritating , for this off option should be available in app setting.
7. Education genre not available in list.
8. There should be a seperate playlist with genre in which year wise released content on Doordarshan
9. Seperate section or playlist with genre provide for NFDC content.

All time this app buffering all the videos and very long ad running thatโs why discontinue this app .
IIT and university tv and radio channels not added in waves live tv
All free channels in free dish not yet added by Doordarshan. PM tv channels and educational channels not updated.
Carplay issue
Doesnot play in Carplay .. kindly fix to increase reach and better performance
No drama
It has no k dramas I finally thought I found a site which had free dramas but it does not have only
Chhath
Saw an amazing film Chhath in my mother tongue .

unable to watch downloaded files offline
despite having subscription ,unable to watch downloaded item offline , requires internet and subsequently running with Ads. very annoying.
Nostalgia and recent
App crashes many time. Requires restart. Please have a update with bug fixes.

It does not work
The app opens, shows the logo with copy but after that nothing happens.
