I love this app!
I’ve been using Wavve for years and it only gets better. The charts are so easy to read and the autorouting is phenomenal.
I’ve tried all the nav apps out there and this is the closest thing to actually having Google Maps on the water! I also love all the community points and seeing other Wavve app users on the water, it really has started to feel like a community. I also need to say that their customer support is the best I’ve ever interacted with. They are so friendly and get back to you right away. I’m sure I will be a lifelong customer.

Thought it would be like Waze but no it’s not free and I don’t need it enough to pay.
Huge help navigating an unfamiliar lake
Very accurate course and water depth navigation!
Not Useful in Northern Ontario
The map is not topical, the same map as google satellite. Shallows totally missing for Lake Huron. Also lost $12 after using the app for 2h because cancelling is for next month. Couldn’t use without signing up.
Forced subscription before trying
Sucks all apps force you to agree to subscription rather then providing you with an actual free trial like this one I was gonna give it a try but not anymore

i wanted to go out on a few lakes near me but it literally says no information. but showes me everything about other lakes 200 miles away. waste of money for this app
Does this work with apple car play as i have a screen installed on my boat
I have a car play device on the boat which alone music and so on but also does gps so is this app compatible with apple car play?

This is a $70 a year app. Total waste of money and completely misleading. Not free at all.

They make you to enter all your info thinking that you’re getting a free app (& maybe pay for some features) but then they tell you that it costs $70 a year! (With a 14-day free trial). The problem is most apps like this will charge you the moment you say “yes” to free trial and cancelling it is a headache!

Looks like it would be amazing
If only they had the lakes that I boat on, it appears it would be a fantastic app and worth the money.
I live in “Lake Country” and it’s named that for a reason. However none of our lakes, even our largest lakes aren’t available on the map!

Routing need a LOT of work
The maps are nice but the routes take you through land, marinas, and dangerous areas. Not quite up to spec yet. Has potential though.
Ordered by mistake
All I wanted was to see how the Wave app worked. I must have hit the wrong button and mistakenly ordered an annual subscription for $69.99 plus tax. When I contact Wavve and explained the situation they offered me a full refund without question. The app is great, but I only have a small 14 ft boat for crab and prawn fishing and generally I am not more than 2 kilometres away from the dock .

This is a mistake.
All I wanted was to see how the Wavve ap worked, but somehow you were able to charge me for a year subscription through Apple Pay. I never requested a subscription or approved the payment. I am sure you were offering some sort of free trial, that is what caught my interest.
Why would I order this, I only have a 14ft boat I use only for shrimping and crabbing and I am never more than a 4 kilometres away from the dock. Plus I don’t put the boat in the water until the end of June for 4 months. Would you please ask apple to refund my payment.

Says in app purchases until you download it. Then it’s a free 3 day trial before you are billed. Never indicated how much it costs. Not playing that game.
