Got it to work
Thanks to information in an 8 year old review from @kcs84 -I was able to get the app to work and connect my La Crosse weather station to Weather Underground.

Doesn’t work at all
Does not seem to work WiFi does not work even on 2.4 GHz nothing works and I can’t find another way to connect my weather station to weather underground. I have spent more than a hour trying to get it to work but it still always has some sort of issue this app hasn’t been updated in years and I doubt the developer will fix anything. The issue seems to be that the app can’t find the WiFi network but I don’t know. Terrible app.

App won't recognize WiFi network
The app is pretty straight forward, unfortunately it doesn’t work at all. I tried both the IOS and Android versions and neither will recognize my 2.4GHz WiFi network. When your iPhone is connected to your local WiFi network, this app is supposed to display your network SSID and allow you to enter your base station password. Only then can you enter your Weather Underground credentials. But, you can't get that far if the app won't find your network and only displays “Wi-Fi” in the network name field and won't let you edit it. I'm a retired network pro, so I have a clue about WiFi, IP addressing, etc. This app fails miserably. Zero stars!

Weather underground has changed login info and “how” it logs in.This no longer sends to weather underground as I have been able to do for years

This app has not been updated in 6 years. It has essentially made my weather station useless and unusable. LaCrosse is no use if you don’t want to buy a new station from them.

We have had so many issues with the weather station disconnecting from the Lacrosse app. Now I finally figure out you need this second app to connect to weather underground and it is even a bigger piece of excrement.

iPhone weather connect app
Attempted to use Weather Connect on my Iphone 13Pro Max to connect La Crosse V40A- Pro weatherStation to the weather underground. After numerous attempts I got a failed message every time. I called La Cross tech-support they had me jump through all the hoops I had all ready done and then admitted basically it’s not supported much anymore and hasn’t been updated in five years. I had an idea to get out my Samsung tablet since the IOS app was missing a screen that was supposed to show my available station. I downloaded the Weather Connect app on the Samsung tablet android Opened it and selected main menu put in my weather station ID number KO7ASTOR32 on the first line login and the second line password my station Key number it should be a 8 character code. And viola it said success. Two hours later I was broadcasting my station to the weather underground. Bottom line is iPhone app does not work with Lacrosse but android Weather Connect does. Hope this helps somebody.

Eu comme cadeau de Noël, station météorologique WS6867. Il est impossible ne serait-ce que de créer son compte. Bref n’acheter pas de produits La Crosse Technology, c’est de la pure arnaque ! Pour une fois j’aurais mieux fait d’acheter un produit venant de Chine !!
