Try their new app

If you like this app but always wished you had more international locations you should try the developers new app, Weathercaster. I still like WeatherGraph but Weathercaster is better.

Response from developer

Yes, we created Weathercaster with international weather in mind. WeatherGraph was always limited due to the data source - National Weather Service data is USA only. I hope you continue to enjoy both apps!

Great app for US weather

This is my favourite app for viewing weather in the United States. The only downside is that it doesn’t work for Canadian cities yet.

EDIT: they released a new app called Weathercaster which has a similar format but works great in Canada. I highly recommend you check out that one.

Great Data! Clean Interface

Exactly what I was looking for. Apple’s weather app forces me to calculate how low the temp will get every night by looking at the next day’s low, which is annoying. The graph widget makes it crystal clear. well done!

Simple but accurate

I use this app for my everyday outdoor activities to get accurate forecasts

Perfect! Useful Info at a glance

All the basic info you need in a clean, easy to use interface without any bloat. This is my go to for weather now.

If I want radar and advanced stuff I have another app for that, but 95% of the time I need a quick temperature, precipitation, and wind for a given time of day and this does that beautifully.

I really like this app.

Update: Great Support

Love this widget, best graphical representation of temperature and precipitation change. Will occasionally stop working due to data availability outside of developers control

Response from developer

Unfortunately the National Weather Service does have temporary API outages, but luckily it’s fairly rare and I’m happy to see that the latest one is (mostly) resolved. Thanks for hanging in there and continuing to use the app and I appreciate your review and feedback.

One of my favorite weather apps and i have MANY!!! Clear and concise and just so useful.

Great weather widget app

Great app! Accurate/reliable forecasts from the NWS. Best visualize layout of any other widget app, and it is very easy to read.

Would Have Been 5 Stars

Software publisher collects and links data to tracsk users.

Only supports US

Most other weather apps seem to be able to handle cities outside the US. Except for this one.

Rien pour la France, uniquement les US

Sans avis

Great but buggy

Great concept. I installed mainly for the widget. Love the graphical multi day view. But the widget does not update automatically. You need to open the app for the widget to update. Defeats the whole purpose of a widget doesn’t it? Background app refresh etc everything is on but the widget would not update (?)

Fills an important and unaddressed niche

The quality and reliability of this app is great, but more importantly it graphs a long term forecast that clearly displays precipitation chance, weather condition, and temperature. Most weather apps do not provide this long term data in such a concise fashion.

not working

didn’t work for me blank page. maybe because I'm using it from Europe. idk

Only US. What a letdown.

Seems to have nice Apple Watch complications. But unfortunately only supports US.

Full page ads = DELETE

Updated. I would have hoped developer cared about quality of his / her app. Get yourself free apps that don’t do full page ads.

Better yet, get an app that cost a lot less than 4 bucks and support a developer that hasn’t over inflated an app that has data for free elsewhere

———————-

Yes, app is free, but you get what you paid for no matter what is underneath the ads that pop up in the middle of the data. I’d bet the developer doesn’t care what the user interface is like or he (or she) wouldn’t use full full page ads.

Not worthy of your efforts of downloading if you are allergic to full page ads that come up MULTIPLE times in looking at one graph.

Nothing changed. Didn’t realized I downloaded this in the past. Too many full page ads. Plenty of meteogram apps such as metro blue that give you the same data (plus more) without intrusive full page ads.

Response from developer

We tried ads as a way to make money because we hate the idea of subscription apps, and love the idea of giving users unlimited access to the app functionality as they test it out (and remember ads can be disabled by a 1-time purchase). However, we decided as an experiment to shut down ads. This means the app is a bit lighter weight without all of the Google ad libraries. Instead of ads we are implementing a limited number of locations before you need to pay to unlock the app. Look out for an ad-free update in the App Store soon. It should be out in a few days.

My review got deleted?

Since my review was mysteriously dissolved into dust, I’ll just say this is the best overall weather forecasting app in existence for USA. I have a separate dedicated app for radar so there is no need for that feature. That is all. Minimalistic yet powerful.

A truly wonderful weather app!

WeatherGraph is a perfect example of an app that presents relevant information while not requiring one to hunt around for it. At a glance the user can see the current conditions and those of the coming days. The graphic presentation of the daily conditions is absolutely wonderful. As for accuracy, I have found that for my geographic location WeatherGraph is on the mark. Solid weather info without unnecessary fluff or distractions. Also, the developer responded to an inquiry of mine very promptly and was both professional and helpful. I am very happy with WeatherGraph and recommend it without hesitation.

See forecast at a glance

The graphs showing forecast temperature and chance of rain are easy to read and convey far more information than the cluttered little cartoons most weather apps use.

No graph

The graph did not show in the app, only the current temperature. It did show on the peek view before fully opening the app. Was forced to delete.
