Doesn’t work
I bought this to use in AUM and it doesn’t show up within the app. Also whenever I open Web AU as a standalone and go to type in the search bar the screen just keeps scrolling up and down and glitching out so it’s pretty much unusable , wish I would be able to get a refund if the app doesn’t work.
EPIC UPDATE!
This update was massive! I absolutely love that I can create presets of my browsing sessions. I wish all browsers had that ability. Thank you for making such a useful tool.

I’m blown away by the evolution of this app! I’m not sure what I’m more excited about but the preset/snapshot capability is very useful, especially now that it supports multi-tab browsing. Thank you!!!
Big bugs
The playback of videos is UNSTOPPABLE even after unloading the plugin. No pro dev could possibly miss such a bug.
Needs improvement
I was hoping the problem with no volume control would have been addressed but it seems not. So, technically it is not fully compatible with your DAW since the volume sliders have no effect and if your going through an audio interface with you iPad, the iPad volume also looses control.
A must-have audio unit!
I now have the ability to live stream unlimited sources within my daw. Web AU is super easy to use. Thank you for updating the bookmark window.

This plugin does not for audio through your host, s someone on a forum led me to believe. I was hoping to pipe YouTube through AUM so that I could run it through a limiter. Some podcasts have wildly variable speech and it’s very frustrating in the car.
Anyway please allow me to request a refund somehow and perhaps make it clear that this cannot be used in the way I described.

Thank you for your feedback. I would advise you to avoid making decisions on misleading forums. If you read the app description, it is explicitly stated that Web AU does not allow audio recording.
Audio is not routed properly
I bought this so that I could adjust the volume of YouTube videos relative to other audio apps but it doesn’t work.
I loaded into AUM and the fader has no effect on the output volume and even adding a gain plug in also has no effect which I believe means that the output is not being sent as output of AUv3 but somehow bypasses this completely making it pretty useless.
If I just wanted to play YouTube videos then I could easily run YouTube in slide over mode and this is a lot easier.
It’s only £1.99 but I feel cheated.

I can appreciate what you are saying, thank you. If you review the app page I tried to make it clear that the audio within Web AU is not available within your DAW. Nonetheless, you are entitled to a full refund. Please submit a request via the AppStore. Cheers.
M1 iPad Pro 0s 16 no vol control
Tried AUM , LumaFusion, Cubasis and Camelot Pro but could not control vol. Updated to 2 stars as developer responded with a refund offer. Think the vol issue is an Apple iOS thing but not sure.

I bought this for one reason, and one reason only to get Spotify to play through AUM. Which works!!! Downfall is no control of volume which puts me back at square one :-/

This app needs an independant volume control..when connected to audio interface making music in a daw then put on a you tube video the sound comes out full blast…all daw volume control’s rendered useless..also it seems impossible to goto youtube site it redirects every time to the app..i could just open the app myself and switch between them..

Very helpful app
It does what it is designed to do, makes working within the AUM environment when needing references from the web much more convenient.
Multitask in plain site
Only for people who want to maximize their DAW space. If you don’t know you don’t know. Nice for crib notes, set lists, lyrics, tabs etc. Anything you want up while you record and mix.
Fantastic app
I know this is by no means what the dev expected his app to be used for, but having audio from the web routed through this AU would be a blessing.
Great examples of this are TubeAU or WebAudio by BlueMangoo (their new name is Mani Consulting Company as of now, I believe? ).

This is one of the most innovative audio unit plugins that exists! It’s great to see that innovative and original ideas are still a thing. I am getting tired of the endless amounts of bassline synths, FM synths, wavetable synths, drum machines, etc. I find this utility to be a refreshing and immensely useful. Kudos to the dev for creating something authentic.

This really is useful
I was on the fence about this until using it. Having access to video tutorials inside AUM is just amazing. No more back and forth between YouTube. I can even sign in to see my playlists. This is just awesome.
