The app is terrible
On the rare occasion that the app works to assist in connecting to a local Internet, the system works well. The app never works properly, which makes it impossible for hardware to connect to a local Internet source
Ok. But interface needs work
Fairly easy hardware setup. Just a power cable 12v connection. The supplied cable is shortish - best to make off connection within the dome. Once all connected access to the SIM card will be tricky depending on installation position. Higher gives better 4G eg on spreaders. We put on back rail which isn’t bad.
You get 1-2 bars more signal than a mobile on same network in the saloon.
iPhone app is ok. Commands / setting changes can take 20 seconds to register so be patient. It’s not that intuitive. One of the two /// menus takes you back to beginning add new device. There’s no way to see what devices are on the network. Or easily check your data remaining. ( register sim. First on mobile provider website )
However provides a network hub for wifi connected plotters so handy.

Total dissapointment
App simply doesn't work, making the 300 dollar antennae and router worthless. If in fact that even worked, cant get past step 3 of the install so who knows.
Once again our tech overlords deliver substandard products and expect the consumer to spend countless hours educating themselves in the tech to resolve the manufacturers issues.
