Not Free. Have to watch ads for daily “free” episodes and the option to do that goes away!

I unlocked 41 episodes using the “free daily unlock” then I hit a paywall where WebComics demanded diamonds with no option to unlock by watching an advert. Regret downloading the app as I now won’t be finishing my story.

Propaganda enganosa

É horrível. Sinceramente, nunca vi uma coisa dessas. Você paga uma assinatura VIP justamente para ter acesso aos conteúdos e, no meio da leitura, descobre que ainda precisa comprar diamantes para continuar lendo.

O pior é que vocês informam que existem mangás gratuitos para assinantes. A pessoa começa a ler acreditando que aquele conteúdo está incluso na assinatura e, no meio da leitura, avisam que houve mudanças e que agora será necessário usar diamantes para continuar. Ou seja: de gratuito para assinantes, não tem nada.

No começo, achei que isso acontecesse apenas com alguns títulos específicos, mas percebi que acontece com todos. Então qual é a vantagem de pagar pelo VIP? Se ainda preciso comprar diamantes para ler, a assinatura deixa de fazer sentido.

A experiência é extremamente frustrante e passa uma sensação de propaganda enganosa. Se o conteúdo anunciado como gratuito para assinantes exige um pagamento adicional para ser lido até o final, isso deveria ser informado de forma clara antes de a pessoa começar a leitura.

To put it simply, it’s a brilliant app and website—honestly, the best one out there so far, since others I’ve seen have issues with the episodes. Now, the part I didn't like—aside from paying for a subscription that feels pretty pointless—is that even with the $70/year plan, you don't actually unlock the episodes; instead, you just get tickets to rent an episode for 70 hours. Basically, it’s a comic rental app where you pay by the episode. If you run out of tickets—which you burn through in just two comics—you have to buy gems to keep reading. Oh, the irony: it’s just an app designed to make you pay for every single episode.

SUBSCRIPTION SCAM

I subscribed to the basic $7.99 (CAD) package MONTHLY through the App Store. Three weeks later I find out they’re charging me $45 WEEKLY. It went to my bank instead of my Apple account so it took me forever to find what it was. The total was around $130 when I finally noticed and called my bank. (This is Canadian dollars so $45 = $30 USD)

Loved some of the comics in here but when you get 30 chapters in and aren’t buying gems to pay for chapters they remove the watch ad to release chapter which you only get 5 a day to begin with

Fix things

The App started off really well.. watch some ads, unlock some chapters and wait a day if you do too many.. fair enough.
But what really stings is if you pay a subscription, you still have to PAY MORE to read more chapters anyway!
$100+ for a yearly subscription and still asks for another $100 to at least read half a comic, it’s an absolute joke.
This is a cash grab app that doesn’t not care about the readers but rather how deep your pockets are!
I will be uninstalling because of this set up.

Muito anúncio, para ler cada capítulo precisa de 5 diamantes, se não comprar para fazer pelo sistema de recompensa você precisa de 120,00 tokens que demora muito pra juntar e MUITOS ANÚNCIOS PRA ASSISTIR. Sei que é assim que fazem dinheiro, mas isso desestimula querer permanecer no app, eu já saí e não recomendo pra ninguém baixar. PÉSSIMO
