What's New in WebTMA

1.0.93

July 1, 2026

This release introduces the Show on Map feature. When a work order has a latitude/longitude (on the work order itself or its location), or its building has an address, the Work Order Task Details screen shows a Map icon. Tap it to open the location in your device's map app. Other notable updates: - After you create a work order while online, the app immediately resyncs so the new work order appears in your list right away (when it's assigned to you). - Various UI enhancements

User Interface clunky and has constant connectivity issues

After using this work order system for roughly a year, I constantly find myself having issues closing, locating and locating past work orders. I have issues closing work orders due to a “sync” issue that was only resolved after deleting and redownloading the application (this was after updating). I would not recommend this software to my least favorite company.

Thanks for taking the time to share this. We know how frustrating it is when something as basic as closing or finding work orders doesn’t work the way it should—especially when you’re relying on it every day. We did track down a sync issue that affected some users’ ability to close work orders. It started on January 20 and was fixed in an app update released on January 26. Updating the app should have resolved it (a reinstall shouldn’t have been required), and we moved quickly once we identified the cause. We completely understand how disruptive that would have felt while it was happening. About finding older work orders: the mobile app is currently designed for active work, not long-term history. Once a work order is closed, it’s removed from the app after 24 hours by design. There’s also an admin setting that controls how far into the future work orders appear, which may have added to what you were seeing. We already have plans on our roadmap to expand admin-controlled browsing and filtering later this year so this experience is more flexible. We’d really like the chance to help you directly and make this better for you. If you’re open to it, please reach out to us at support@tmasystems.com and our team will dig into your specific setup with you. We appreciate you sticking with the system and sharing what didn’t work for you. Feedback like this helps us improve. — The TMA Team

Continuous Improvement!

By far, this WebTMA is much better than all the previous versions. It’s not perfect, it does need some improvements, but TMA seems very committed to their product roadmap and the very regular and consistent updates that keep happening. It’s also important you (or your system admin) to understand how this app is supposed to work, and the impact of various system backend settings and your companies own processes in order to utilize this app to its full extent.

Hi Willados! Thank you for the great rating — we’re definitely aiming for continuous improvement. You’re absolutely right that backend settings and preferences can affect how the mobile app behaves (for example, some organizations don’t allow technicians to complete work orders). We hope you’re enjoying the new features we’ve been rolling out over the summer and into the fall. Thanks again for your feedback!

Way way better than mobile tma go

The university I work for recently allowed us to use web tma on our iPads which is way better in my opinion. Not perfect but a lot better.
PROS: -search actually works
-photos actually show up in work orders consistently
-you don’t have to log out then back in to finish a work order.
-you can go back and see your previous comments/notes
-works in split screen

CONS: - no notification bubble on app or push notification of new work orders on Home Screen.
-there is no visual indicator in the app itself that a work order is new or unread. Mobile tma has a blue dot.
-The new work orders tab shows all work orders and really should have a toggle for 7 days, or a month.
-I don’t know if there is a way on pc, but on iPad I cannot find a way to schedule work orders so the 7 days tab always says 0, wouldn’t mind being able to delete unused tabs or make different ones.
-app does not remain logged in when you close it.
-as Far as I can tell you cannot close a work order with 0 hours so I have to put .1 hours. Mobile tma allowed 0 hours.

Again this app is much better than mobile tma go but I hope the developer continues to make improvements. Please work on the new tab, as I currently have over 270 work orders and showing me every work order I have is not useful in two areas.

Response from developer

Hello Todd, thanks for the feedback! I hope you noticed that we listened to your feedback over the summer and the app now stays logged in for longer. For the "closing a work order with zero hours" that this is now an admin setting. If the TMA admin allows it, you can close Work Orders with zero hours. Various changes have been made to the the home page tiles and we will continue to make them more flexible. Push notifications for new work orders is next on our roadmap and the "unread" Work Order indicator is also on our roadmap. We love feedback, so please keep it coming. Please review us again so we can see if we are improving!
