Terrible design for a news app
If you wanted news this is not the app for you. The app is littered with ads. The app is more of an advertisement app than a news app. So much so that you are forced to view ads before you can actually access anything in the app. Additionally between every click, every video, and everywhere in between ads ads ads. If you need news quickly for potential local threats or issues then do not rely on this app. For example we were under a tornado watch and just trying to track the critical situation I was forced to view ads before I could get the details on where the tornado was located and details of the tornado track. Fire the app designer and stop the money grab.

Not user friendly
Recently moved to the area from Raleigh and downloaded the WECT app. as you scroll down the list of stories, the size of the font is so large that you can only see a few words of each story, meaning you have to open each individual article to really see what it’s about to determine what you wanna read about. Complete waste of time in my opinion. Compare this to WRAL app in Raleigh and you’ll see what I mean.

Fonts too small to read
This new format fonts in the list of articles is too small to read for sight impaired people. This was not the case in the last format.

Cannot clear red notification dot after latest update
Bring back the previous version
Difficult to read as the fonts are smaller and I agree with the other reviewers.
