From the very first time meeting Marie I knew she was destined to be our celebrant not only did she invite us to her beautiful home she welcomed us into her heart I knew at that moment while sitting on her back deck over looking the beautiful ocean as we discussed what to do in the coming weeks my heart said she’s perfect later months I decided to go for a walk to the beach and must of been the right time and moment because I walked past a lady and thought to myself that looks like my celebrant and as I turned around she turned and she also knew at that moment and said I’m marrying you and not did know her on a professional level I also now knew her on a personal level I’m so please with the way the ceremony went I’m so very happy with Marie and her beautiful nature I couldn’t of got it done with her love ya Marie ❤️

Don’t bother using this app, unless you want all of your wedding data to be deleted!

Twice now I have opened my Easy Weddings app to see that my entire account, and wedding information along with it, had been deleted and neither time was by me! It took customer service days to get back to me the first time and although they reinstated my account, it has been deleted again less than a week later!
Save yourself the stress, time & inconvenience and buy an e-planner from Etsy that can be edited on Canva for less than $10

Good but has issues

Love the app for keeping me on track with to do lists & handy lists of suppliers. However, I have found most of the suppliers I have already shortlisted are not in the app at all. It does allow me to add them myself though which is handy. The biggest issue is when trying to add my wedding venue. It keeps putting it in as the engagement venue even though I have removed that category. I will try to add the wedding venue after removing engagement & it will just bring it back & put my choice of venue back in engagement. A little frustrating!

Good app for organising

This has many great planning and suppliers options.
I would have liked to upload my pics that I have saved for inspiration… ideas for flowers and cake etc… could find similar in their options…. Only thing to make this better would be able to upload your own inspo pics

A good starting point

I downloaded this app recently to start planning for my wedding and this has been a good overview of what is required, however definitely lots of details that could use further improvement!
- Adding guests: This is frustrating because you have to tap too many things before you start typing a person’s name. This should be quick and efficient to begin adding but then can also have other options(dietary) on the side after you finish adding. After adding 50 guests, I was tired! Imagine if you have 200+ to add, very tedious!
- Floorplan/seating arrangements: this would be a super awesome addition to the app as I have to use a separate app to visualise my event area and the guests (food for thought).
- Messaging suppliers: this has some bugs that need fixing. You are required to add your mobile number with a pop-up message that says it will only need it once to remember for other suppliers, however this pop-up has happened for every single supplier I messaged. Also doesn’t remember the options you tick (include my wedding style/vision board) once you start writing in the message box.
- Adding suppliers: When adding your own suppliers (like hair makeup artist), it would be nice to have an instagram search due to more options with talented artists on the platform nowadays. Linking a website when adding a new supplier is also too difficult whilst navigating on mobile phone, especially with instagram profiles.

Hope these points help for future improvements as I do enjoy using the app!

Do not use. Too risky

I initially loved this app, was using almost all functions with no issues, then a few months ago I was having issues with the budget not updating in the app and then my entire budget reset. I spoke with the customer support team who were very helpful and were able to recover most of my information. After that things were fine, however now I’ve just found once again ALL of my budget data is gone. Guests aren’t updating in guest list, eg I add someone and when I get out and back into the app they’re gone. I am less than 2 months from my wedding and I’m starting to finalise payments with suppliers and now I have no idea where I’m at or what I’m doing. Its going to be a massive job to go through and work it out one by one. Seriously disappointed and cross.

There are some basic things that should also be included in the app, for example, filtering the guests in couple order or surname order, or by bride and groom like you can on the website. Or assigning a guest to a group when entering them to the guest list to avoid double handling.

Loved the app until recent update

This app has been so helpful with planning my wedding for next year. I have even booked several suppliers from the app. But the recent update with budget completely wiped out my whole budget and everything I had entered in. The new update is not more user friendly, as it doesn’t allow to track how much you spent versus what is remaining. You can’t even edit the subcategories budget to try and work with your budget. Please revert back to the old budget way, don’t try and fix what was not broken.

It used to be a good app

The Easy Weddings app used to be great when I first downloaded it. I had my budget all together and had no issues.

I have had a long engagement and in late 2021 the app stopped working for me. I can still see my total budget from that time but I cannot actually go in and see my budget items, update payments or amounts owing or add new budget items. The app also closes regularly. The to do list is all out of whack and the app doesn’t allow you to change the dates of the to do list. I also can’t add vendors who aren’t already on the app.

It’s just a shame because the app has so much potential. I raised these issues with the Easy Weddings team on Instagram, particularly the faulty budget, and nothing was done to resolve the matter.

On the other hand, the supplier lists are great and I have found and contacted a number of suppliers through the app.

Great app, but some small functionality problems/oversights

This app has been so fantastic for entering plans and keeping them with me on the go. The suggested vendors function has been really great, Ive chosen a few vendors from those suggestions, and the whole ‘planning’ part of the app has been so helpful to keep a track of everything, except for two things.
1. I seem to be unable to properly change the contents of each individual budget. I can edit the budget, cost and paid, but not owing. Even if I do change only the first three fields, when I exit the app my changes all vanish.
2. The fact that you are unable to simply change the date of a task in your to-do list seems like a bit of an oversight. I wanted to change the task due date for purchasing my dress, because I dont like the app telling me its overdue when my wedding is still 16 months away, but I dont seem to have that option.

I am so thankful for this app! I got engaged and then started to look at everything to do with with an engagement and wedding. I quickly become overwhelmed but then I found this app! It makes everything so much easier. It simplifies everything and gives you a clear plan on what to do. Thank you

Great help for a newly engaged couple.

The app has been fantastic with helping with time lines, listing local venues & suppliers. I have everything planned out because of this app, I wouldnt know what to do without it, I can easily remove things I dont need. Only thing I would like to have on the app is adding the guests in families. Not a massive issue, I just feel it can save a bit of time. Other than that I could not be happier with my own handy wedding planner that I control.

Organisational heaven!!

I love how the app keeps me organised by telling me which things should be booked by when, and even when to start thinking about them!

The suppliers on the app itself are wonderful and truly have a wide budget range, as well as different styles and taste.

I definitely recommend downloading the app for peace of mind and a cruisey wedding planning process

From the first phone call I had no doubt that Sam was going to deliver the goods on our special day. My one request. Epic wedding photography. And that Sam most certainly did achieve. Needs a lot of work

The website version of this app is fantastic and really easy to use - but the app needs work. Changes and updates made on my account via the website don’t seem to update on the app and you can’t change information like dates for tasks in your to-do list. I find it a little insulting that it just sets a deadline for you to announce your engagement without giving you the option to select or change it.
I’ll continue using the website for now until they get the app more user-friendly.

It's very helpful and our developers will use it to continue improving the app. A tip for using the app - for tasks that are pre-populated like announcing your engagement, you can always create your own task for that item and add your own date. (Then delete the pre-populated one.) It's a little work around while we improve usability. But so pleased to hear you've found the website fantastic, so thanks for letting us know. Happy planning.

Easy to use, great for tracking the budget

I have booked multiple vendors through this service. The app is pretty easy to use and the budget tracker is great.

The only thing I would change is to give an option to move items up or down the suggested timeline. I don’t want to buy my dress over a year beforehand and it is constantly popping up as a reminder.

Easy weddings is actually EASY!!!

Easy weddings is honestly what the title says easy!! Haven’t had a drama from the beginning, first found an all in one ceremony, reception and accommodation for what we wanted. With everything from flowers to cake makers to makeup artist and hairdressers coming right to the destination. Couldn’t be happier downloading this app and having it there will be to help me plan my wedding!!

Most of suppliers getting back very quick, its easy to compare prices and offers and because you then leave your review on the same app you can expect them more likely do their best.
