Doesn't work
I was promoted to download the app from the website and it says there are no venues available anywhere despite location and budget.

pointless
downloaded it and made an account just for it not to show me any venues. when i attempt to search, a notification comes up telling me there isn’t any to venues to match my filters. yet, i don’t have any marked. i’ve also tried adding filters as well as force closing it and trying everything again but nothing works.

Doesn’t load anything
I was very exited to try this app but once I started searching in my area, nothing came up. Even when I cleared my filters and everything, it still did the same thing. Very disappointed. This needs to be fixed.
So easy
Wedding planning is so stressful but this app has really taken some stress off my plate! Thanks for creating this to help us find our perfect venue.
Created login not working
Just downloaded and it wouldn’t let me log in after signing up. I even requested to change my password and try again, still will not login.
Two minor bugs: FB Messenger sharing and the image for the state of New Mexico
Hello Wedding Spot - I downloaded the app last night and I enjoyed playing around with it. There are two minor bugs that I think I should point out:
1. Facebook Messenger sharing. With the current version (1.102) of the app, if you share a wedding venue using the Facebook Messenger option from the iOS share sheet, no link is created. There is just a photo that’s shared.
2. New Mexico state’s image doesn’t load. On two different iPhones when I go an look at the state of New Mexico’s default image, nothing loads.
If you could fix these two problems it would make for a better experience for users of the app.

Nothing is loading
The first day I got the app everything worked but then it stopped loading. I just got a new iPhone 13 and it’s still not loading, I’m at a loss of what to do.
Don’t download if your budget is under $10k
I spent a while on their website before deciding to download this app. Online I was able to put my budget to $5k - I wish it could go lower.. some of us aren’t trying to put our future children in debt over a wedding. When I was in the app the lowest I could set it to was $10k. I also did not like that I was unable to sort them by price, top picks, location, etc which is really frustrating when there are over 40 pages of results. Ridiculous.

App not working, worked well before, been Looking at spots with my fiancé and worked well before, not functioning on the phone. Fix soon pls!
App not working
When I stumbled upon this website I was excited an app was available. However, the app is not loading any pictures of the venues. This is such a bummer. I’m a visual person and if I can’t see any pictures then it’s no need to view the venue details. I was hoping to find my wedding spot using this app. Very disappointed!!

I just started using the app after finding it online and online version works a lot better then app!! It won’t pull any of pictures up for me but I love that I can get some prices. Some of websites don’t work!!

They have NC and Raleigh as an option however, when you select it there are no options and no venues to look at.
Fix bugs
Works great until I set any filters. Whenever you try to add even one the app stops working. I update whenever one comes out and it’s still the same.
Love it!!
This app is amazing I was able to see venues and contact them to set up tour all through the app. It’s good to know the prices before you arrive at venue.

My fiancé and I recently got engaged December 2019 and have been looking fir the perfect wedding venue. The wedding spot is perfect for browsing venues and generating costs estimates to make sure the venue is with in our budget before we schedule a tour.

Diversity and Inclusion
Every stock image is images of white couples..people of color get married too! It’s hard enough being a black woman and knowing that the wedding industry is not inclusive of you and you have to seek out representation but like come on. Do better!
Price estimates are awful
Wedding Spot has a great directory of wedding venues and the app is reasonably well designed. Unfortunately, the price estimates are horrendously inaccurate — comparing them to the actual prices I got from several different venues, in every case the Wedding Spot estimates were 50-60% of the actual price! This led me to dramatically underestimate the costs of my wedding. Terrible!
