Really helpful

I found the app very useful as a beginner and it’s helped me progress.

Misleading

Wants to charge you $50/month and doesn’t give you even a taste of the program. No free trial or anything

Initiative and dependable

I’ve used this app on and off for weightlifting programming over the years. Following the program results in progress. It adjusts during your workout and weekly.

My favourite feature is being able to change how many days a week I do for the next week.

The best! I’ll be using this for all weightlifting programming.

Pleasantly surprised

Since the release of the app I’ve used it on and off a few times. The updates over the years have made it an improved app to use if your schedule varies. It’s not 100% perfect, but for the price compared to one on one coaching, it’s tough to beat.

Amazing Tool for Training

I don’t normally leave reviews, but this app is so awesome I had to! I have been training for a long time and this is by far the best tool I have ever used for programming. I get to pick my focus and it adapts lift by lift, week by week, program by program. I highly recommend it!

Great app 👌

Terrible app

Takes your money and never lets you get past subscription page. Yet, I checked my credit card and I’ve been charged. Still can’t get in and customer service is no where to be found!! Beware of this money grab.

Excellente app !

Great potential, room for improvement

I really like the concept of the app. The execution is also actually quite good considering the complexity of developing a good program with all of the variables that go into training.

Good stuff

1. Configurable

2. Relatively simple to use

3. The programming and progression for the main lifts seems solid.

4. I really like how it handles rating the main lifts. (3 lights, and RIR)

However there are a couple of weak points. Before I go into them I should note that they have announced a new version of the app that is supposed to address some of these issues.

1. Obfuscation. There is basically no information on why the programming is organized the way it is, sometimes it can feel random.

2. Accessories programming. This is a huge weak point. There is no progressive overload, or periodization for accessories. It feels like it just picks a random movement, random rep range, and will only prescribe a weight equal to whatever you did last in that accessory regardless of rep range or set number.

3. General bugs. There is a good amount of buggy behavior in the programming. For example it frequently puts in more sessions of pulls per week than I have set as the maximum for the week.

4. Support. There is a discord server with a QA, bug reports, and new user help channels. I’ve only been in the server for a couple of weeks. However most questions and posts go unanswered. If there is a response to a help request it is almost always from a community member, not from the devs.

Its ok for intermediate lifters that dont have time

The app will give you a pretty good program based on your best lifts and your goals, but you can do most of the things the program does by yourself for free. The only downside of doing that is that you’ll have to take some time learning how to program for olympic weightlifting and all the nuances that come with it.
If you dont have solid technique on your lifts this app is not for you, become proficient with your technique and get stable 1 Rm’s before considering paying for this app.
Another issue is if you dont know what mistakes you are making in your technique the app won’t help you, so you have to know what you’re doing wrong and make tweaks to the program to add corrective exercises.

Okay programming, terrible customer service

The app is a bit quirky and takes a while to get the hang of. Not much is said up front and you have to manipulate settings if you truly want to customize your program. Updates are infrequent and not announced. But if you follow the program you’ll probably see your lifts go up.
You’ll get an invite to a discord server which is a good place to get feedback and talk about weightlifting.
But the customer service is terrible. Free training camp attendance is advertised as a perk for annual subscribers. When they offered a training camp, there was no $0 option for annual subscribers. The owner told me to pick the monthly subscriber option and I would get reimbursed. After three months of back and forth, I still have no reimbursement and he stopped responding to my messages. There does not seem to be a “customer service” option on the app or through the website.

Mitigated :/

I’ve followed the normal programming for around 5 months and I’ve seen only marginal progress in both OLY lifts. I trained three times a week, followed rather closely the program. I believe the percentages prescribed are not agressive enough (in accordance to my PRs) and squats are way to light . Rather than focusing on 3 movements the program prescribes 4-5 main movement and it is difficult to warm up correctly for each of them and complete the total workout in less than 2h. 2 minutes or rest prescribed is not enough for heavy movements ! However this prgram is very much a relief, u don’t have to calculate percentages think about what to do…If your goal is to progress fast I believe it is NOT worth 40$/month.

Love the flexibility and adaptability!

This app is great for Olympic weightlifters who need a program that’s flexible for their lifestyle! It’s fantastic, I love how you can dynamically pick which days you can lift and it will automatically adjust your programming to keep you on schedule with the training volume/intensity. The community also seems pretty active with videos and form checks and overall communication! It’s great and especially as someone who trains alone it does a good job of making me feel like I have people to talk about training with!

Issues

Can’t seem to get past the registration part. I reset the phone but no luck

App Crashing

I have tried to sign up for over 2 weeks. Each time the app crashes.

App keeps crushing

I just paid and about to build a new program but the app keeps crushing. Need a refund

Doesn’t work

Tried opening it a couple of times and it just shows the loading screen. No responsiveness, no nothing. Just dead. Tried it on an iPad and it’s the same thing. Horrible app.

Love the App!

I love the app and can’t wait to see how they expand!

Support hasnt kept up with bugs

Started off very responsive with dealing with bugs but team has fallen off lately (Switching workout days isnt working, constantly switches to power jerk split jerk)

Wow!

It was great! I got a 5kg PR!
