App does not work
Takes more than a minute to lock the door from the app and you must be standing right beside the door to lock it. The app does not give any history of activity and if you are away from home it always shows it is unlocked if you try and check the status.

Battery Monster
Can’t seem to get more than a couple weeks out of new alkaline batteries. Checked for bolt interference etc
Too much data usage
App is very slow to open or close the lock when connected in wifi or Bluetooth when it works at all. The Auto Unlock feature doesn’t work at all and the app is sending data like 4Gb in a month… why???
Requires too much live location information
The application requires more information about devices and live GPS location than should be required for a local device. I will be returning the lock and deleting the app.

I’ve had a really good experience with the Wyze app overall. Setup was smooth, everything connected easily, and the lock works great day-to-day. The app is clean, responsive, and does exactly what you’d expect for managing your home devices.
That said, there’s one pretty significant gap in the user permissions. Right now, the only options are “Guest” or “Administrator,” and there’s no middle tier. I’d love to give my kids full functionality—like auto-unlock and other smart features—without giving them admin access that allows them to share the lock with others.
A simple “Family Member” role with full usage but restricted sharing/management would make this perfect.
Everything else is solid—just hoping Wyze adds more granular permissions in the future.

Works good
It’s nice being able to give guests their personal code that expires the day they leave. My only issue is the batteries don’t last but that’s minor

J’ai la serrure depuis 1 mois fonctionne très mal avec l’application. Bloque souvent avec le code, Indique que les batteries sont vident mais elle sont neuves. Je commence à regretter mon achat.
Frustrating
I have had nothing but the worst luck with this Weiser halo Lock. Firstly, no matter how many fingerprints I put in there it will never open with a fingerprint. It goes through batteries like crazy. Currently, I’ve got 40% battery and it won’t lock or unlock automatically for me, it is locked, but the app says it’s unlocked.
I really must question its purpose.

No Schedule?
Generally very happy. Unsure why I can’t schedule the device to lock every night at a certain time. Seems like basic functionality?

Love the convenience/ question battery usage.
So convenient to use your phone to lock/unlock your door. Great to be able to check the app to see that it is unlocked or without going there also.
Found it chew through great quality energizer batteries in no time. Called Weiser and was advised if there wasn’t a less than 20 foot straight line of sight path from your router to the door lock, we should be buying a Wi-Fi booster. We’ve since done that, but really haven’t seen a big saving in battery percentage used or left. Will have to do another test and hopefully it’s better.
Good quality lock, good connectivity from the phone wifi to the lock….only concern is battery consumption.

Problème de connexion WiFi
Depuis quelques temps je n’arrive plus à connecter mes 3 serrures sur mon réseau WiFi. Alors que tout fonctionnait très bien avant avec ma configuration.
J’utilise un modem sagemcom modèle 5689e de mon fournisseur internet Bell.
J’ai tout fait les reset possible du routeur/modem et des serrures (reglage reseaux et d’usine). j’ai même désactivé le réseau 5G pour n’avoir que le 2.4G. J’ai plusieurs appareils de d’autres marques différentes et ils se connectent sans problème.
J’utilise un iPhone 16 pro avec iOS 26.3 avec la dernière version de votre application Weiser.
Une aide de votre part serait appréciée !! Merci !!
