It’s all in one app

Access to this app was paid for by my university. I use the waterfall noise to fall asleep at night and when I’m trying to focus in noisy areas. I like the daily mood checker and the self assessments for stress, depression and anxiety are good for quick check-ins on my mental health. I decided to use the app to record progress on some self care goals. So far so good !

Solid app.

Solid app. Only have really used it for the wellness checks, but it helps me get my thoughts out of my head

Response from developer

Have you been able to get in since? Sorry it was giving you trouble.

Won’t open?

This app won’t open. Maybe because I have iOS 18? I don’t know. Can you fix this?

Helpful Tools

I appreciate the wellness assessment and the tools the app suggested after seeing my results. I also like how the mood tool tracks what is going on at the time your mood is tracked. The videos are incredible and I especially appreciate the ones on emotional intelligence. Did anyone else notice Kevin from The Office? Those were great.

Byu login broken?

I’ve tried logging in on 2 different devices 5 different times and I can’t get it to work. It brings me to the byu login, says I’m in, and then doesn’t let me press the button to take me to the app. It just takes me back to the login screen.

Not user-friendly

This has to be the least user-friendly app I have ever used. Typing lags. The interface is constantly glitching or not allowing me to exit. I am logged out every week, and logging back in is a nightmare. I like the way logging works and the videos. I have free access through my educational institution, so I can’t complain too much.

Doesn’t seem to do anything

I got a free trial to review for accessibility and I can’t seem to get the app to function at all. Same issues on my on my iPhone and MacBook (running Chrome). Both are running on latest operating system updates.

Good, Can Be Much Better

I have used this app for one week, and although there are not many issues, there are two significant issues. The first is the opening survey, in which the user is asked to identify their gender. The first three options show “man,” “woman,” and “transgender.” Transgender is absolutely not a separate gender from cisgender.

The second issue is the interface during mood-checks. I use an iPad 7th Gen, not the newest but definitely not outdated. The mood check is done in a floating window, and I can’t see the full window at any point. Swiping to center the smiley results in scrolling to the following page in the check.

Criticisms aside, this app provides some good resources and is very well catered to the UIUC student body and faculty. Will continue using and hope to see improvements made.

Thought it was something that would help me be useful but when you have to pay for it, never mind

Will not be using this app. It’s ridiculous that you have to pay for it .

Up and Coming

This app has a lot of helpful features. My favorite is the zen room. I am looking forward to this app continuing to grow and expand!

Improving

My school give me free access to this app and I have been using it for 2 years. It seems like they are making some improvements to the videos and functionality. I am looking forward to what they do next.

Great app!

This app covers lots of areas I am working on in my life. It’s easy, the functioning is improved and it’s pretty to look at. I keep seeing new stuff each month.

Updates!

Lots of new updates and content are great!

Poor

Cannot save any mood checks after filling all of the necessary items required to post. Keeps saying that it's needs a mood and event, when I have them included.

Doesn’t work

I cannot track my mood. I couldn’t even sign in at first. Had to reset my password, then sign in with a temporary one and then the app figured out that I was signed up via wellness together Canada. Poorly designed app needs to be fixed.

Buggy but useful

Everytime I finish taking the time to log my feelings, it says error and I have to redo it. I don’t like taking the time to rewrite everything. It’s like talking to someone and opening up just for them to ask you to repeat what you said because they weren’t listening.

Bugs, Needs Improvement

This app still contains many glitches and bugs throughout, as well as slow scrolling rates. The videos provide basic mental support to people who need it. I would personally recommend seeing a counselor in-person or online rather than devote lots of time to this app.

Great app, but should support autorotate on iPad

The mood check has been really helpful, I found myself getting happier and more content with my life. However, I hope it supports horizontal view on iPad since using the keyboard to type isn’t great with the current version not supporting autorotate
