Quicker contactless option not working so had to download app which was a faff but once set up all good

Very counterintuitive but worked in the end

Plugged in and followed instructions but it never got beyond the preparing stage. Unplugged and got a message I had been charged €11 for nothing. However, tried again and this time had a successful and quick charge and I was only charged for what I received. However, it could have been simpler and worked straight off.
