Terrible app
I keep getting an error message just trying to set up my login with no explanation as to what is wrong. User journey is awful. Can’t believe a huge financial institution is this backwards in 2026.

Not sure if Wesbank fired all their developers, but the only thing that is worse than this app is their website.

Continuously get errors when trying to do car finance through the app.

Try another vehicle finance app - WesBank doesn’t quality test its app.
Brand new phone with all the latest updates and app doesn’t work first time. Just keeps asking me to complete the same information over and over again.

The whole point of this app is that it should allow the user a hassle free experience and to have the required information at hand whenever needed. Get new software engineers.
Unable to register
When I try to register it prompts for a username, my input is then rejected which seems that I already have an account. I then have to reset my username but is then asked for my password.
I did not even know I had an account, how am I to guess these details on less than 3 tries.

Selfie process always fails first time. If your passwords don’t match, you need to start from the very beginning…and when you finally get to the end, it just says system offline.

Apply function unserviceable
Each time I try use the apply for finance function it gets stuck on the page asking for consent to communicate with credit bureaus.
Hopefully this app has not tarnished my credit record by re-attempting this function without any joy

Not working AGAIN
the app is like FNBs. NEVER works properly.
Viewing documents is broken
If youre lucky you may get the app to show you your settlement quotation. Most of the time it doesnt work. And when it does, it shows you the document from the same effective date every time even if you change the date. Embarrassingly bad.
Selfie Process Broken
It wants you to nod your head, but then takes a random picture half way through the movement resulting the verification failing.
Could not login
I have two cars purchased through Wesbank. The app requires a card and a visit to an ATM before you can load your profile. I do not have a card. Confusing!
Very useless
Extremely useless. Pointless to have this app. Same as FNB App, there’s no point in installing this useless one. Just an absolute waste of time!
Communication problem
To be able to use the app you need to phone a number to get it activated. I spent more than 20min to get an answer and gave up.
Problem
I enter my ID number and it says it is invalid … definitely entered it correctly
Waste of data
Cannot login whatsoever, the app keeps on asking me to go to an atm to activate with my fnb car even though i am not an fnb client only financed my car through them
