Poor log in page
The log in page with the username is very mis leading and causes me to type my username in wrong thinking its changed, for example if your username is username123
It would display use**** which is very misleading snd the *'s dont account for the amount of characters in the remaining username. Needs to be changed.

Online app is bad
I have a very bad experience with this app every time I made a deposit they always reject it always. 😡

it used to work but now it pulls up a white screen and closes immediately, any help??
Can’t say too much
I can’t enroll on the app. I have all the info I need but it won’t process. It says to call customer service but it directs you to the bank. So if you try to set this up on say a Sunday or a Saturday after 12 and have difficulties you are s.o.l. I thought the idea of the app was to eliminate contact with the bank?

Missing key features and polish
The app has inexplicable limitations on searching for payees which makes routine banking chores for me unnecessarily difficult. Most functions are here but the app lacks the polished cleverness of a thoughtful, user-centric platform as we are growing accustomed to seeing on our phones these days. Most of my banking experience is through the app, not the polished marble of the physical bank lobby. I often think about switching banks for a better interface but that is not a small task and the people have been nice when I do go in. I hope for a major app update soon but this one does almost everything you really need...just no fun and sometimes laborious.

WGB Online banking is so user friendly!!
I love using my West Gate phone app also! It too is very user friendly. I’ve been a WGB customer for 20+ years and wouldn’t change for anything. GO OPEN AN ACCOUNT YOU GET A FREE GIFT. LOL. Oh and did a mention their banking if free for most every type of account. GREAT BANK

This is a good app that seems to work consistently. There are a couple of issues however that I think would be an easy fix and they would make a huge difference in it’s user effectiveness.
First, at the top of the page after selecting an account you show balance and current balance. The number is represented by the balance in the current balance are always identical. It seems very pointless and I’m not sure what they’re supposed to represent.
What would be extraordinarily helpful however would be an “available balance” which would show the current balance minus all pending transactions.
I would also very much like to see the addition of external account transfers where money could be transferred via ACH to external accounts.

Frustrating me all of the time
Always disconnect from the server. Cannot login, ton of errors appear everyday. Put some more effort into your app pls!
