Logged out
Very frustrating. Constantly needing to log back in and then being told credentials not recognised… constantly. Wish they would sort this out!
Missing list
Since the last update I can’t see anymore the list of the books I’ve saved
Good (when it works which is rare)
+ It’s great for checking what books are available and reserving them.
- You can’t rely on the app because logging in is so hit and miss. Many times it has logged me out and not let me back. First thought whenever I go to open the app is, will it let me log in?!

Log in issues
Please fix the log in issues. I see I’m not the only person with constantly being logged out and my credentials ‘not recognised’. I’ve double and triple checked and now your app is just gaslighting me to thinking I’m the problem. I just want to be able to check when my books are due back or renew them so I don’t get charged late fees. Maybe this is your scheme? Charge more late fees make more money? One day you might spend it on paying decent programmers to deliver a working product.

Signed me out yet again, rubbish app
Patchy and unreliable
When it works it’s great, but it’s so inconsistent. Loans and reservations are often incorrect/ not updated, eg says I have books in transit when I have already collected them and have items on loan when I’ve returned them. Another issue is that accounts regularly drop off every time the library system crashes and I have to re-enter my 5 linked accounts, which is frustrating.

Oh dear, you have updated the library app and (in my opinion) ruined it! I can no longer find out which libraries hold copies of a particular book, so I can’t find out if my local library has one but it’s on loan. Its more effort to find out when my book is in transit, and I don’t need that there’s one for pick up on the screen - especially as you send me an email to tell me when it is. The library tracker looks like it would be such hard work that I think it would have put me off reading completely, and the new layout does not appeal either. On top of that some of the faults are still there. At the moment I am seriously considering deleting it as all the things I liked have gone, but will struggle on for a week and see if I adapt.
Apologies, today I have just found out how to find out if my local library holds a copy but it’s on loan, so that knowledge hasn’t totally gone if you play with an app. No good though for the many of my equally elderly friends who aren’t inclined to, or aren’t computer literate. However, the one thing I would like to see is where I am in the queue for a reserved book (like the latest Richard Osman) but it appears as though I still have to go on to the main website for that information.

Constant log in issues
I have constant issues with trying to log in as it always logs me out, always says it doesn’t recognise my credentials. I get the exact same when trying the online portal and have to wait a few hours for it to then allow me access.
The app I ok for searching for books should you know what you want but not great for searching through just a specific genre.

Good…when it works!
A really useful App, it means I can keep track of my loans, reservations and any charges that might be owed. But, with monotonous regularity it freezes, deletes data and is generally rubbish. I get the feeling it needs some love from WSCC. It would be great if a future update allowed online payments and showed how long you might have to wait for a reservation.

Useful, but so glitchy!
I use this app all the time and find it very handy. BUT it logs me out constantly!
Or my details remain, then I find my children’s accounts have been de-linked and logged out :(
Please sort this out!
Oh, and please add the wish list feature that’s available on the desktop version and link up with Libby so you can search for eBook and audio versions available through that app, as well as physical paper and audiobooks available at the library.

Really bad
Clunky to use & very badly designed. I’ve had enough of it & have just deleted it.
Good app but needs some updates
There’s is no option to see what books was previously borrowed, would be good to have this feature added
Can no longer search catalogue
All I get is a line in non fiction scrolling through. The page shoes on my iPhone. Cannot fix it however much I try.
New version
Opened app today to check my reservations and found it has been updated. It is all fine and I can still operate as before however is there any way at all to hide or remove the list of books scrolling across the top?

In branch they believed this had been updated (between lockdowns) but nothing changed. Why no barcode to scan or as previous reviewer says - pls correct the need to log in and out for guarantor accounts. It’s frustrating.

There was no reservation in downloading the app but plenty of reservations once the app was downloaded. My opinion of this app can be summarised in a few wise words:

Can’t view all items borrowed
I have 13 books on loan for my son and I can only view 3 of them in my account so I am unable to use the app to renew all the books! The page does not scroll down to view all items on loan which is Annoying!
Great for one person!
I like everything about the app except the fact that it’s so frustrating to swap users! For example, on my phone I use the app for my account, as well as the accounts of my two children. Each time I want to quickly swap between accounts I have to get our library cards because I can’t remember all of our account numbers. There should be some way of swapping between family members accounts without the palaver of logging in and out each time.
